You can’t help but love Eleanor and I’m so glad little Nora is getting better ! And hearing Brooks giggle at Dunbar ‘s antics brought a big smile to my face ! 😊❤️
Hi Wendy Lou, I was wondering I got two comments saying to join in a certain place because I won a special prize from dusty idk if you're able to see it,is that a scam?? I can't report it on my tablet how eels can I do it other than deleting it? Any ideas
Brooks laughter is soul healing. Big Joe is just lean and focused. Dunbar has slowly bulked up. He’s still full of shenanigans. I used to put vegetable cuttings out. The bunnies and birds would pick at them. Then the deer would come. After a month or so - they would stand and stare in the window if there wasn’t anything out. A couple would come onto the porch. They were asking where dinner was. My adult daughter and I could sit on the porch and talk quietly. The deer would come within 5 feet of us. It was beautiful and amazing. Blessings to you Dust, Marissa and precious Brooks. ❤
Same here at my house with the deer! I've lived here for 30 yrs and all the deer grow up seeing us twice a day, everyday and we feed them scraps from veggies, fruits n nuts! I go to the Apple house n get apples to cut up n feed them treats! I rarely cut my grass bc they love eating the native grasses that grow here in the N Ga mtns! Acorns, Pecans, Hickory nuts, n Corn are just some of the nuts they eat! Blackberries, strawberries, grapes n muskedines are some of the berries! My neighbor puts out salt blocks n mineral blocks just so we all can feed n watch them! We have alotta wildlife here, including wild pigs, wild turkeys, quail, n different birds! None of us hunt but we do supplement their food bc sometimes the drought dries everything up! We protect the deer on all our land around here! Love watching the twins n triplets play out in the yard n fields! They know theyre Safe here! So Sweet! They're all so beautiful! God's Animals! 🙏❤❤☺☺
Dusty, I love it when you video the bison close enough for us to hear the grunting, snorting, puffing, and sniffing. It seems they are communicating which other.
It just amazes me how you can get these giant, majestic animals to follow you with just shaking a bag of cubes. Wonderful video, thanks for sharing and letting me tag along :)
So happy for you that Nora is healing! It looks like she’s going to be a sweetheart like her mama! Brook is just so adorable “there’s the buck”! 🤣🤣 God bless y’all! ❤
Eleanor and her calf can't go anywhere without getting bullied by the others. Even the yearlings are being mean to Nora. Doggone it. I hope all of the herd will start being nice to them one day. They are too sweet.
I am glad little Nora is doing better. I was so worried when I saw her limping and the swelling on her leg. I wonder if she got kicked by one of the older calves when playing. So glad she is recovering well. I am looking forward to Nora maturing and adding her genetics to the herd. 🥰
I'm thinking more along the line of got kicked or "lightly gored" maybe? by one of the adult cows. Everybody always thinks of the bulls as the ones being vicious when it comes to fighting for dominance and mating and all other things buffalo related 😁 but some of them cows are just as bad if not worse. They will correct the younger ones when and if they get out of line and they don't hold back. Especially if she maybe somehow got on the bad side of the dominant cow of the heard. I know Elenore didn't do it. But if she was playing with one of the other calves and maybe the mother of that calf was eating or doing buffalo stuff LOL Whatever that may be and she considered Nora to be out of line she would have definintly put her in her place and not held back. Also I have not been watching that much. If Nora is starting to eat a little bit plus nurse or whatever, if she got in one of the other cows or the dominant cows way this would have happened.
I had to chuckle when those few stragglers came running up, "Daddy daddy wait don't leave us out we are coming" then they tried to eat your pine tree. 😃
More important than weight is that everyone is healthy on your Bison Ranch/Deer Sanctuary. 😁Brooks' giggle is so precious, she is so inquisitive. Glad all is well with Nora.
Dunbar will continue to mature... and is really looking nice. Big Joe will always be my favorite... he just has that extra something special about him. ♡♡
Dunbar is already matured. He was the first bull Dusty got and was older then. He has always been our favorite who showed friendliness to Dusty. Big Joe and 2 females came later and had a bit of getting used to his new setting there at the home ranch. Dusty had to keep the two bulls separated, by building more fences there.
@@virginiacurrey2019 Dunbar is a couple of years younger than Big Joe even though he was there first. And while he may be mature, he is not fully grown yet. That’s why when they were penned next to each other when Big Joe first came there, Dunbar backed off whenever Big Joe came near the fence. He is catching up to him though. And he is my favorite too. I think Big Joe is magnificent but Dunbar has the personality..😊
I’m so glad the baby is ok now. Great job Dusty. I love hearing Brooks laugh. She is such a little angel. Much love to you, your family and the Bison!! God Bless us all 🙏❤️🤗🥰💖👶💖🇺🇸👍
Be cautious, Dusty! Those horns are sharp, and those little yearlings are still a little flighty. Your hard work is ongoing! Thank you for always including us, and your detailed explanations! I always enjoy listening to all of them "talk" back and forth with each other!
I get a kick out of talking to his. Class. A class of bison. They act like they know what he is saying. They might. Who knows. It sure makes my day. I am 87 and can't walk. I appreciate. Dusty and his babies. And Daniel and his goats. God bless meri
Hello, So happy Nora is doing well and standing on that leg. Dunbar, my favorite feller 🤎🦬, it never gets old watching all your bison and seeing them be crazy with the hay bales. Awwe Brooks laughter is so sweet. Wow, look at those deer just waiting for some nibbles. Thank you for the video, God bless 🤍
Very happy that Nora is doing very very well and nice to see Eleanor also. That was quite a challenge to get those 2 red dogs separated from their mother But you have done a beautiful job glad to see that everybody is healthy and doing well thank you for sharing
So good to see Nora doing so much better! I also thought it was interesting to see Eleanor protecting Nora. ❤ I know it was a shorter clip, but once that first yearling took a swipe at Nora, Eleanor wasn’t letting any of them near her. ♥️ So nice to see these animals being so well cared for. Thanks Dusty (and all) for everything you do! And sharing! 🙏♥️
I have. In a national park in Alberta. Woodland bison, male. He was bigger than the car I was in. What saved us from a flipping was the fact that he was so THOROUGHLY disgusted and repulsed by us and the car. We were so revolting that the thought of touching us made him nauseous. He finally stopped glaring death rays at us and stomped off the road. We all breathed out and shivered.
I am so glad you gave update/information on Nora. I was very concerned about how she was doing. Brooks laugh is so cute 🥰. She is getting to be very vocal.
Good cuttin' work there young man. Low stress working. Fantastic news on little Nora. We still haven't been introduced to your new/young canine ranch hand at your mom/Kevin's place. Looks like a little cutie.
Great job gate cutting out the calves Dusty ! Big Joe May not weigh out high , but he sure is a beast !! His head, Afro and coat just make him beautiful ! Dunbar is filling and looks great ! Glad to see the Princess and baby Nora.. I’m so glad she’s doing better !! She has already touched hearts like her momma ! Thank You and Kevin for the care you give them all . Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you !
I enjoy your chats with the dogs, cat & chickens. Of course the bison are the stars of the show. You should show us where you are planting the pine trees. I personally am not wild about them. BUT, one or two well placed trees will provide a nice focal point and provide diversity to you land.
The bison mind you sooooo well! Amazing to see! The two little calves were definitely vocal about wanting to be with their moms. Dunbar and Eleanor will always be my favorites! Nora is looking so good! That's great that you take care of the deer, also. You are truly a master, Dusty, at keeping "all" the animals healthy. Blessings!
I love Brooks laugh🤣🤣 when Dunbar trying to get at the bale of hay.wow. that's a lot of deer. That's so cool to be close to them I'd love to see some here.
Glad to see Eleanor and her baby Nora doing so well. She's watching the yearling so they don't get aggressive with Nora. Thank for sharing your growth.
I wondered how you separated the calves on the live the other day. Now I know how you did it! When you finish your handling system, I know you'll include a way to cut them when you work them. You told us on the live that Nora was doing so much better, but it's good to actually see it! I'm so happy! It looks like the antibiotics helped! It also sounds like Dunbar is catching up to Big Joe! I loved hearing Brooks laugh and seeing all the deer at the OG! Brooks was positive one was a buck! 🥰
Yay Nora!!🎉 Dunbar’s head is *MASSIVE* !! Hope you, Marrisa & Brooks are doing well. If I don’t see a video before Thursday, Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs, Doc❤
