The deck and a quarter cut off the end. This guy is precise dealer. When I was counting cards I preferred the people who cut a half deck hahaha.
I’m gonna pretend I haven’t heard 4000 different loosing players say they’re APs 😂 But I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt because the location of the cut card effecting counting I feel like isn’t super well known. Had you tipped me when you sat down at the table, maybe I could’ve get a little better deck penetration.

@@NicksASMR Yeah I know what you mean. I was in some forums and a lot of people think they can count but can't. I'm an actuary so I have a strong math background. I did my due diligence, read books, did research, practiced 300 hours before playing in a casino. I also only mostly played on promotional days to minimize my negative variance. I booked all my sessions, I profited $6,000 over 200 hours of play. I didn't count things like the steak dinners I got, I only count physical dollars in my profit. I got the casino's cut cards from their gift shop, got the same discard tray they have and used that to practice my deck estimation. It's fun I like taking from casinos because they take advantage of people with gambling and alcohol addictions.
@jons2cool1 for those that actually put in the work and practice, they don’t need your money 😂 go make a few bucks! Surprised they sell discard racks at the shop at your casino, they really are trying to make every penny possible huh
@@NicksASMR I bought the cards from the gift shop. Found a similar discard rack on amazon. Also they used to have this 'pick a chip' promotional game. Some of them were $50 or less and there was like 1 or 2 $100 chips in there. They placed them face down with the dollar amount written on the down side. I was able to recognize some imperfections in the back of one of the $100 chips and I picked that chip like several weeks in a row lmao.

As an actual dealer I love the authenticity, but if you’re going to risk your job giving the side bets with those trips gotta make sure they keep those side bets and back up your reasoning 😂 first thing I learned as a dealer is always cover yourself

You may be surprised, often times people forget, the guests pay dealers more than the casino. You’ll catch dealers that genuinely care about your well-being and may suggest the hotline or other resources. If they don’t have that level of rapport with the player, sometimes even small things like encouraging them to color up so it’s harder to “break the chip” to play more.
As far as the casino as a corporation… yeah they’re likely going to do exactly what it takes to “CYA” and nothing more. There will be fliers available somewhere, a graphic on a TV every once in a while, but you’re 100% right, it’s not like they’re going out of the way to tell people.
It brings up interesting arguments. As to should they be doing more. Then again, no one is being forced into the casino or held captive. Anyway, thanks for sparking such an interesting topic and your complements!
