For years I thought that I was the only person in the world that enjoyed exploring graveyards. Now that I know that there are two of us I don’t feel so weird doing it.
Can’t you tell it’s British summer , I’m glad you brought a good water proof it makes all the difference 😊. I don’t know the Cotswolds. Guess what after over 40 years I’ve bought a bike a Triumph 875 se very pleased.
You’re exactly like me, never dedicate enough time to stop and look at places I ride through, I get blinkered and just feel the urge to get to my finial destination.
Looked lovely. Parking downhill is fine. Pop it in gear before you shut down and let the brake off. That'll rest the bike in gear and stop it rolling away down the hill. Remember to select neutral or pull in clutch before you start up. 😀 Real motorcyclists are happy to share tips! If you like old buildings/graveyards, come to Chester. Plenty of Roman, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings near here... oh you have!
@@laterrider My pleasure. We moved here from Manchester nearly 2 years ago and it's a great spot for biking. 5 mins and I'm in North Wales, 5 mins and I'm on the Wirral (often missed area) and the peaks and Lake District are only an hour away. Chester city centre is amazing. History from 3rd century onwards.
Wow… I find it amazing that someone from Arizona is watching my videos 😃 Chester is a beautiful part of the world… as I’m sure Arizona is (just googled it) 😃
Like you, I too find cemeteries really interesting and only yesterday went for a lovely walk around my local one. Love your videos, I don't get to get out on my bikes too often but I feel a trip to the Cotswolds coming on soon. Ride safe 🏍️🏍️🏍️
Hi Tony Great videos. Went to Normandy back in May for a small tour and your videos brought it all back. I live near Newquay in Cornwall if you do a tour in this area maybe I could join you for a mile or two😀 Like you an older newbee.. Rich
People are just dieing to get into the cementary. 🙂 I like looking at old headstones too. So interesting. All the narrow roads. Their infrastructure is so much worse than america. We have double lanes everywhere for both directions. Can't believe they never changed after all these years. Thanks for another nice video.
Nice videos, watched the France tour👍 A recommendation for the BMW TFT, I’ve had three bikes with the TFT now and fitted all with the Speedo Angles Tempered Glass protector. They are so simple to fit unlike other screen protectors it’s just a case of cleaning the screen then laying the protector on and it sticks itself down no air bubbles to get rid of. It stops the screen getting all those rain marks needing to regularly clean or worry about scratches, can’t recall how much they cost but well worth it.
Another lovely video :) And pleased to see you got a nice new jacket for the rain. Certainly some beautiful villages you rode through there, I'm looking forward to the upcoming videos. Would you recommend your Shoei Neotec 2 helmet? I've been considering one of those but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Have a lovely week and enjoy your trip :)
Thanks James. To be honest it's the Neotec 1 - I got it a few years back when I bought my first bike and it's great. However, you may not be aware they are about to bring out the Neotec 3 and so you could either get the latest version... or better yet... a decent discount on "Version 2" :-)
@@laterrider it’s looking good still 👍🏼. The 1 looks the same as the Neotec 2 :). Glad it’s served you well. Yes, I heard about the 3 coming soon but there doesn’t seem to be a release date yet? I’d like to wait to get it but I’ll need a helmet by mid September 😅. I’ve seen a few good deals on Neotec 2’s though. Hope you have a lovely week and thank you again for taking us all along on your travels 😃👍🏼
Have a look at the South West 660...starts in B'th and ends in North Devon.....been thinking about doing it over a long weekend. I probably need to get a more comfortable bike!!
What makes you think your not a propper biker? when i park on a downward facing hill i leave it in first gear left lock and front wheel pressing into the kerb!
Thanks John - to be honest - I remember not feeling very confident in the moment and I should… as you suggested… simply have pressed the front wheel into the curb 🤔
Hi Chris… I hope you’re thinking of getting a bike 😃 I took out a new mortgage and bought a Gortex jacket by “Rukka” 😃 I don’t know if you spotted it, but I also have an airbag waistcoat that auto-inflates if I have to leave the bike unexpectedly 😊
Great stuff!!!
Thanks!
Just love your self effacing style. Also like a lot of the comments, there’s nothing wrong with looking around cemeteries.
Thanks so much Peter - I really appreciate that :-)

Absolutely! They’re fascinating places to explore 😃

Another great vid. Let me know when you’re back in the Cotswolds and I’ll come and have a coffee and show you the great back roads!
Hi Simon - I may well do that and thank you for the kind offer 😃

Another great film 🎥
Keep em coming
Thanks David 😃

You’re right… but I really do need to plan in more time 😬
That's because you want to cover as much territory as possible in one day. I was (maybe sometimes still is) like this too
Agreed 🤔
I have the same problem, but im working on it 😅, my last trip around the Iberian Peninsula was much slower and i appreciated the towns more
I think my biggest lesson so far is to never (rarely) take the motorways - that in itself seems to make for a far more enjoyable ride 😊

Lake District is high up on my list 😃
Thanks the great video. I live in Scottsdale, AZ, but lived close to Chester growing up. I am now homesick 😂😂😂❤️

We share a word hobby (graveyards) 😃 I hope you manage to visit the Cotswolds soon 👍
Cotswolds is a great place for a bike trip. Loads of biker friendly places to visit Koti and Bibury motorhub worth looking up but there are loads.
You’re right John - it really is a lovely part of the world 😃

That would be amazing Rich! :-) Newquay is a beautiful part of the World.
That village you didn't know is North Leach. A beautiful village indeed.
Thank you - much appreciated 😃

That’s a terrible joke John 😂
Thanks for your kind words 😊
@@laterrider That is so old. 🙂
😀
Great videos, Thank you…. do you know what the little village was called that you rode through after visiting the graveyard?
Oooh… I’m so sorry I honestly can’t recall 😕

I think that photo was from Cirencester… but I could be wrong? 😊
@@laterrider it is…the back of the Parish Church - St John Baptist. Hope you had a great trip 😎
I did… what a beautiful part of the world 😊
Not a big deal to park on a downhill. Just leave it in gear.
Like. (Withou the reminding)
PS
European towns are so charming... ❤

graves are part of history so I agree with you although I probably would only look occasionally. How you getting on with your bike , looks great 😊👍🏍
I’m loving it! And can you see I bought an airbag, as a DIRECT result of your recommendation!
Lianna says “thank you” 😃
Yes very good , I shall be buying one aswell👍🏍🤗
Excellent 😊
