- Samantha Brown has hosted almost a dozen travel shows on the Travel Channel including "Great Hotels." She’s now in her fourth season of PBS’ "Samantha Brown's Places to Love" and has found time to sit down with me to answer my travel questions.
Man, you can't help but smile when you listen to and see Samantha Brown. What a wonderful woman.
We have a favorite saying when we travel: one of us will say "You know what Samantha Brown says?" and the other answers "Never pass up a chance to use the bathroom"! She's so right! We never leave an airport, train station, restaurant, museum without using the toilet because you never know when you're going to find another one. We love Samantha!

Samantha says she's always wanted to go to Finland yet I remember watching an episode years ago where she was in Helsinki. As in Finland
I've seen Girl in Hawaii series with Samantha Brown and my favorite episode is when she mentioned movies in Hawaii. But I practically love all of them. First it's Girl in Hawaii then the next favorite series is Passport to Great Weekends vol. 1. And I have to ask which of those episodes are your favorites to watch over and over non-stop Sam?

a few years ago after I retired we took that first big trip over sea's, ,we were coming home, the tour guide was taking our group thru the terminal to catch our flight and their was this group of older men heckling us as American's how do you deal with that
