I like the grass fossil Pokemon, the Dolphin starter, and the legendary Thylacine.
A Koala being a fire type is super ironic, seeing as many of them dye from bush fires. I could've definitely seen them have more of a nod to this by giving it the ghost type, but that's would be a very dark concept.

Really like the fact that half of these are fighting type since everything wants to kill you in Australia.
I'm pretty sure theres more dark type fakemon than fighting type in this region

If Pokèmon ever does an Australia based region, I'd want version exclusive red and blue heeler. Blue being steel type and Red being ground type.

Really like the fighting cactus, electric camel (which like Urbosa's divine beast in BoTW), Torpedo shark, Ice husky, alien slug and the croc pseudo. Their designs are amazing.
As for the legendaries, the dream snake looks great, and I like the idea behind it.
Love how they incorporated all the dreamtime elements, wish this could be made into an actual game
God, I *REALLY* want an Australia-inspired Pokémon region...I would really feel at home with it. And I hope it would be packed with content like ORAS and USUM. But in this day and age, that's probably too much for GAME FREAK to handle and they'll just give us a slice of extra stuff to do via DLC.
Making my own Australian pokemon region over on discord and I love seeing the different approaches the Sundor region is taking to my own stuff.

The Pokemon Company/Game Freak/Creatures Inc. needs to hire these people.
So many have just amazing ideas that should be implemented.
The fact that this follows more of a Pokémon style and how they Didn’t make the starters forest animals with some weird color coordination and this really follows more of how Pokémon games are with some great colored and creative Pokémon and I love how the gimmick gives back mega evolution vibes and let’s hope the designer comes up with some awesome mythical’s and a interesting storyline credits to sunder fakemon for making this awesome region
I would pick the fire starter,but I love the creative concepts for the grass one too,but honestly the water had a kinda basic concept especially being a dolphin
I loved this region, honestly I would kill for an aussie/nz based region game (gen 10 surely!!!). My favs here are for sure the Kookaburra ones with the different colour and Thraggon the horny devil lil dude.

Dude all of these are spectacular. Definitely picking the fire koala as a starter. I designed some mons awhile back based on Australia and some of the ideas are similar. I love the kookaburra. I made a pika clone based off a bandicoot that was electric/Ground. And made a ghost type didgeridoo. My starters were a Platypus (Water/poison), an emu (Grass/rock), and a funnel web spider (fire/bug).
With all the strange and interesting animals in Australia, they're almost like it's own Pokémon world over down under

I came up with an idea? What if fakemon regions had only one type? Normal will be the first. If all Pokemon and the whole region is Normal-type, how would the 17 other types work? How would Legendaries and Gym Leaders be handled? What new Fakemon would we see?

Missed quokkas, could’ve done something cool with a tiger snake, maybe also could’ve put more effort into the cassowary
But otherwise shows off Australia pretty well!

The Dreamscape mechanic is so perfect I wish it was real. It would be like having Mega Evolution back.

Something I noticed with Kudzug is it’s name seems to be based in the kudzu vine, which is invasive in most of the American South. This would make sense with the “invasion” theme throughout the evolution line

I would pick Trunkscrum, Euxplosion, Goukaburra (zesty style), Pyrethon, Feralynx, Spidreary, Reverang, Terravager, Dromerartor, Stalaghoul, Cassoworry (angry), Thraggon, Submalodon, Mongrice, Corrosopod, Sundorian Steelix, Deverado, Sundorian Liepard, Vegemight, Crocqua, Beelzebold, Regighoul, Thylantasm, Rainboa and DREAM FORMS of(Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Spiritomb, Snorlax, Durant, Crobat).
The fact there is none based on our favourite bin chicken, the Ibis is sad, also other australian animals like the platypus. Also would probably be Australian to give Rotom another variant in the form of a BBQ.
I'd go for the dolphin starter and I also like the Thylacine legendary pokemon. You combined Thylacine, phantom, and Tasmania. Thylantasm

Why do fan made regions often have to be amazing :/? I'd love if this was legit, since we don't have a main series Pokémon game (yet) that's based in Australia, and a lot of these designs are really solid.

The pseudo legendary is the frog it's actually the final evolution of its actually named after one of the princes of how the seven Devils and the one that's named doctor is bumps

I'm also making a australian region and don't worry there the pokemon and my ideas are completely different. It's only on the begining and i made like fifteen pokemon but the starter is also a kangaroo a grass type but it evolves into a ranger, the fire starter is a thorny devil and the water type a platypus. My route one pokemon are a aussie magpie, cains birdwing butterfly and bilby also some spiders which also have split evos but not based of the daylight.I just found out that were making the same region but i swear it's completely different than what i'm planning. It's really cool making a pokemon region when you don't live there. At least im learning new culture, animals, geografy sites and more. I apsolutely love the sundor region and the creator and the pokemon he made, and i encourage him to make more pokemon regions!🎉

Y'know, almost all of the Pokémon in the Sundor region are great. If GameFreak makes this Fakémon region real, it'd be my favorite Pokémon region of all time! Too bad Garbodor exists, though.
