I think you're one of the best whistle players I've heard on RUclips. You play with such feeling. Much more preferable to me than how fast someone can play.
yes, some whistle beginner always want to play fast...and fast
Sadly when you think of Irish music you think of robotic speed, without expression or phrasing , a crushed tumble and jumble of notes, and it is defended as being "dance music."
Dancing should express life, not a frenetic dash for the bus because you are late for work, or a sweaty, breathless workout in the gym.
Hi Pedro, you do play the whistle beautifully bit what I most admire is how you remained these Irish airs, my favourite type of Irish music. Please continue with what you are doing. Mike
Beautiful.
I loved listening to you play this song. Thank you.
Beautiful and mystical!
what a lovely irish air thanks
Beautiful! Thank you!
Beautifully player 🎶

I greatly enjoy your music. Thank you for sharing it with us. I enjoy the high whistles, but my favorites are the low D whistles, especially when you play the slow airs. The slow airs played low are so soothing. May I ask how long you have been playing whistles?
Thank you! I've started playing tin whistles around 15 years ago, but always as a hobby, never as a main instrument. About 5 years ago i bought my first low D, a Tony Dixon.
Wonderfully played again❤❤❤Could you post the notes??
Thank you! There are some different version on this page: thesession.org/tunes/6786
Dear Pedro, as I'd love to play this beautiful tune, too, I found several(different kinds of) sheet music. Would it be possible to send me a link for the sheet music that you used? That would be great!!! Christine🙂
Sure! I used the sheet music from the book '110 ireland's best slow airs'. Here's a link to a recording of it on uilleann pipes, with sheet music: ruclips.net/video/ntrga3N5Ny4/видео.html
What I meant to say was ... how you reimagine these Irish airs....
Thank you, that's a really big compliment!
Thegirl with the brown hair. We gave the World English and nobody uses it properly.
The girl of the brown hair. The song is mentioned in several tunebooks with this exact name.
I don't want to just change historical names.
@@PedrosLamentsAndSlowAirs Quite right too. Sorry for being a grumpy sod.
oh that's no problem :) I prefer this over some anonymous downvotes.
