I've listened to First Contact for the last couple of years, never knowing anything about them. I simply enjoyed her emotive tonal vocals with the bloody perfect rhythms, experiencing a vicarious connection to the depth of emotion she conveys. I stumble across this, and you are stunning. You remind me of the timeless look that Monroe and Garland had. I should dive deeper into your folks' story. Another soulful masterpiece that had me captured in the story. Keep that storytelling strong, it's a lost art in music these days.
I discovered this song from SiriusXM Chill. So many wonderful artists that I have discovered there, but Lastlings seems like a magnificent group.

Sublime. the one word I can think of to describe the beauty of this melody and the sweet, crystal clear voice. There are really only a select group of current Australian performers who can put out such captivating beauty and depth. Lastlings is one, and Telenova (bit more pop/trip hop) is another.

Wow this song truly spoke to me & beautifully captured the raw emotion in this music video. Idk if it’s just coincidence or the universe giving me signs but I felt my Scorpio ex who used me as a rebound that tried to reconnect with me & reached out on two occasions speak to me through this song. I’ve been back & forth in my head about whether I want to reconcile with her cause I know my worth now more than ever. I feel her energy strongly in my presence though & I do miss her but will just trust the process & continue healing.
