Its probably gonna be a little hard with the 175's out of the 1 in 12 twist barrel, but the berger 168gr Match Hybrid looks to be a great option for a 1 in 12 twist. It has better BC than the 175 SMK's. Either way, awesome build. Hopefully this winter I will start my own sps-v build.
Ive read that on Snipershide, that the 175s are similar to the 168s but they pull ahead when they get out past 600yards. Never tested it but Im sticking with 168s and they shot great at 500 yards
@kaptain86 Not that i know of, i bought this one used. There is a mount you can buy that lets you mount Night vision or similar optics infront of the optics, other than that the rail that i mounted my optics on is mounted to the action
@MrBlackgunshooter Ive shot it out to 500 yards. Plan to push it further, just dont have the time right now. I love it, its a little different, and a McMillan might be more comfortable, but more expensive.
@lane1030 When you look at the base stock yes. but when you include a bedding block/bedding job, Detachable mag, free floated barrel, stock adjustment, it comes out to over 1,000$ Therefor making this an obvious choice for me
@AndrewRay14 Best group was roughly 1/4" @ 100 yards 5 rounds with Match ammo. This gun shoots Federal Gold medal 168gr BTHP incredibly, 175's work better for 600+ yards ive heard. Highly recommended for a "cheaper" precision rifle build
And thanks good luck with your build!

Very nice, I'm looking into using the SPS-V as well into an AICS stock, does the AICS come with a picatinny rail?
