Wouldn't be easier to have your sure power cable hook up mounted under the van rather than poking it through the window .seeing as your spending as this money on a fantastic van set up why settle for half measures. If a jobs worth doing ,do it once and do it right.👍
Hi. We do not need a hook up with the conversion we are doing. I was saying if we need to use it we could do that. 🙂
Fare enough, the swamper I'm having built is having a 2 battery set up with a 2,000 watt inverter, its also having sure power .I've not gone down the solar power route as I don't think I will be that much off grid to require it . Its great to see how your build is coming along. I look forward to the new video 👍
@@shanewaller2864 fair comment mate, I've found that no 1 conversation suits everyone's needs. What works 8n my van prob wudnt work in yours etc. The first thing my mate said to me when he saw my van was where would you put your fishing rod? I said considering I've never been fishing and never will I don't care 🤷 🙃
You did well there with the wind defectors, they are a nightmare to put in but absolutely so worth it. Always have our windows open about quarter of an inch each side and get great ventilation when parked up. And of course on the motorway stops the dreaded buffering of wind around the cab. One of the best cheapest mods mate
Hi. Not easy to fit. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Good vid
Had same problem with wind deflectors on my transit custom very tight fit so sprayed furniture polish(with wax) into cavity where window slides up 👍
Thank you for your information! 🙌
I put the top in first then swing the longer side in and it's simple 👌🏼
Thanks for sharing your comment
Van looking better and better.
I'm thinking having a hook up point under the bonnet would make your life easier rather than running the cable through the site window.
When Brendon will be connecting leasure battery with main one, he might as well add the hook up on.
Just the suggestion and our experience from the past.
Thanks for the vid.
Look after yourself guys. K🤙
Hi. We dont need one. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
A bit of washing up liquid helps with fitting. Ask Brooke if you don't know what that is.... 👍😉
Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Looking good guys 👍
Thank you.
Great video guys, need to mount your electric hook up under the van no messing around putting cables through windows 👍🏻
Hi. We won't be using a hook up withthe conversion we are doing but its good to have. 🙂
Crafter windows are massive!
Yes they are. 🙂 Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Looking good.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you.
Looking good Tom have you put the bulk head back in or are the videos not in order must fit my bonnet protector I fitted the window wind deflectors but not the bonnet 🏴👍
Hi. We filmed this before renove it. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Hi Tom and Brooke
like the bonnet reflector makes the van look so much better!
Can you confirm something for me please so it is just clipped on to the bonnet not screwed on cheers
Great video take care 👍😎
Hi it is screwed onto a clamp.
Hi guys, looking good, are you just going for the swamper look or the full swamper package with a snorkel, alloy skid plate etc?
Really interested in the off-road capabilities of a Crafter.
Hi. We are goibg to do more. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
The new van is coming along really well 🙂probably quite a personal thing to ask but will you be doing a video on the approx cost once complete so others can gauge budgets required to do something similar? Cheers
Hi. Yes we will do a video about that. 🙂
The best place I have seen for the hook up point was behind the VW badge on the front but it was on a T6.1 and not a Crafter but I'm sure you would be able to buy one for it.
Thank you for your information! 🙌
Hi guys. Are you putting the full swomper roof rack and ladder on. X.
Hi. It is something we are going to maybe do. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
😊👍
Thank you for your comment! 🙌
They look like boomerangs lol. We have just ordered some
They are worth having. 🙂 Let us know when you get them.
Thay do fit better when warm
Where did you get the deflectors? I fancy some of them for my new T6.1
They are from vanstyle. They have lots of modifications there. 🙂
Didn’t think Crafters where that tall fella 😬 good job though 👍
Thank you.
Hi could you please tell me what make the deflectors are and where can I order them
Hi. They are available at vanstyle. 🙂
Do you know if those front wind deflectors actually do anything or are they just for looks? Or are they stone deflectors? I bet there a bugger to clean behind.
Hi. They do help with stone chip. 🙂
Just noticed you have 10k subscribers well done Brooke on all the hard work we all know Tom just stands in front of the camera and drives 😉 🏴👍
😂😂
Have a look at the honey comb grill inserts from van x,,
Thank you.
tom can i ask a question wot is the % of the tint as mine looked like urs and my got stop by police and made me take it off because it was illegal tint please advise because want it back on
It looks more as the bulkhead is on. They will look alot lighter when not on.
Get a snorkel fitted! 👍🏼
We looked at them! Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Very nice, looking great .I always fit wind deflectors to my vehicles; it makes sense in my eye👍👍
Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Could you please let me know exactly where you bought these items from please guys as I would like to fit them to my campervan PLEASE 🤞
Hi we got them from vanstyle and van x hope this helps 😁
might have been a good idea to have warmed them up before trying to fit on a cold day ?
Warming them up would have made them tighter. Its the way they fit. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
@@dubventures i appreciate they are a bitch to install but can you explain how they would be tighter if you warmed them up ? would warming them not make them more pliable and less brittle in the cold weather ?
Plastic expands with heat so how could it possibly make them easy to fit if it's already tight.
@@dubventures well i thought it would make it more flexible but if it expands with heat i can see your point, a bit buggered either way then ? Hot or cold
Grate vlog but I must say they seem to be a bit random
Ok. Thank you
Looking good already 👌
Thank you. 🙂
Looks like you bid this job before you removed the bulkhead ?
Hi. Yes we did. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Looking good mate 👍
Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Having watched this video put me off buying wind deflectors for months but having bit the bullet they took 10 minutes to fit and went in easy so no idea why you had such problems
It took us 5 mins and we said it was difficult that's it.
It looks like your holding a camera mount while driving, just a heads up you can be prosecuted for driving without due care and attention if that is the case. I believe authorities can even use your videos as evidence. If I’m wrong I’m sorry, just wouldn’t like to hear you got fined!
I am not holding anything.
I noticed these were on on your last video
Yes. They are. 🙂
Have you put the bulk head back in or was this shot before. Either way they look great. Not going to lie thought I was going to hear CRACK! at one point 😂😂
Never into the bonnet protectors but for what ever reason it looks really good on your van like properly nice.
Hi. This was filmed before we removed it. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Whats your mpg tom ?
About 32 to 38 mpg. Thank you for your comment! 🙌 We appreciate it. 🙂
@@dubventures Not that much different from a VW t5.1 then. Thanks for taking time to reply
You've put the bulkhead back in??? Well done on the window attachments, they are a great and useful feature !!!
Hi. Waa filmed before we remove it. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Easier with soapy water
Thank you for your information! 🙌
See you’ve put bulkhead back 😮
It was filmed before we remove it. Thank you for your comment! 🙌
Don't go to far in my opinion you will spoil the van
Attention to detail, looking great so far but how many times did you say "actually" 😅
I actually dont know. 🙂
@@dubventures 😂😂😂
Am i being blind? No link for the wind deflectors??
