We owned a 2016 Keystone Sprinter BH. In the first year, (all within the warranty period) we had a wall warp on the bunkhouse door to the point it looked like a hocky stick, HW heater broke, the awning blew up, the cable operated slides came apart, the grey tank valve for the rear bath came apart inside the belly. The local dealer said they had NEVER seen a new trailer with this many problems or a company not stand behind their product. Keystone refused to do anything for warranty repairs and said they'd only cover the awning, the least expensive, and oh by the way, they wanted me to fill out 1099 paperwork because they weren't paying taxes on the repair. Every time I hooked up to it, we had another issue, every time!!! We aren't abusive, don't off road, aren't newbies, and very much respect/maintain our equipment, but this... this was a nightmare.
My wife was on FB at the time and posted it, they blocked her, all my letters and calls did no good. They wouldn't cover a darn thing on that trailer. The dealer at one point asked the rep during a conference call if he should stop selling their products if this is how they were going to handle warranties. The dealer made some concessions and covered about 50% of the cost for the wall and slides but in the end we ended up spending a tad over 10k to fix it only to trade it in on the GD.(before they were WB) I told the GD dealer about everything, showed them all the tickets, all the issues, showed them all the pictures. They called the shop we took it to for the repairs to verify, eventually taking it on trade and wholesaled it to some dealer with all the documents.
I get from time to time a bad egg rolls off the line, but to not stand behind their product at all really says something. It seems as though they haven't changed.
I realize the video is older so I'm hoping you were able to get all the RVSHITT fixed and are able to enjoy camping.
If not, good luck with that crooked company. We've had 3 5th wheels since the 4s' (Stupid sprinter $h ! t show) and refused to purchase another product by them (Thor or who ever they are owned by/called lately) We purchased another one, 2 wks ago and in that process the dealer asked if we wanted to look at some used Keystone's and my wife and I said, hell no at the same time! If memory serves, when my wife was trying to get some traction on FB, there were like 8400 people all having issues like yours/ours and most were not getting anywhere. Again, that's telling.

Sorry to hear all the problems you are having and the people in the comments as well. I have A 2022 25 RDS same floor plan minus the bunk beds in the rear. We do lots of camping and have not 1 issue yet. Everything is great on this trailer we love it. Knock on wood I guess but it's the best trailer I have owned so far. I hope your issues get solved along with your truck as well.

Thanks and glad everything is going well for you…we do love the floor plan and almost bought the 25RDS. I’m sure everything will work out in the long run, plus we’re in the process of making some additional improvements to the camper. Happy camping!!

I read 5 forums Keystone, Forest River, Jayco, Little Guy Max and Grand Design. By far the most complaints are in the Keystone forums.

Did you ever look into trying to get the dealer/Keystone to buy you out of it? Lemon law it? We have the same exact model and year, and have had a lot of the same issues as you.

I had spoke with Keystone about the issues and they just guided me to the warranty process...they weren't interested in buying it back. Now that it's mostly been repaired, we're hoping it's been put back together better than what it was and will last us for a while...we'll see. We're starting to browse other options though!

We have a cougar and have had so many problems and in the shop more than we have had it. It’s a 2022.. what do you mean by delaminating? Im curious because we are having problems with our roof and they are trying to say it’s normal…

Sorry you’ve had a lot of issues as well. Basically, the roof didn’t have enough tacky s material and was separating from the main roof structure.

It would have been nice if you showed us the roof issues.

Wow! Sorry to hear about all the issues with the trailer. Just keep putting higher amp fuses in. Or jumper the fuse holder and look for smoke... I know comments like this aren't helpful, just fun to think about. On the upside, soon you'll have a new trailer roof.

Surprisingly, that's what we've done so far...higher amp fuses. 25 seems to be holding and performing without any issues.

I am not impressed with Keystone at all. They don’t cover stuff that is defective. They say that’s not covered under their warranty. My front cap faded barely over a year and has no clear coat to protect the fiberglass and of course now it’s cracking. Also a crack from a screw that wasn’t all the way in under the fiberglass. They denied everything. Poor customer service and workmanship. I would stay away.

Hate to hear that and yes, it was a slight battle to get them to replace the roof. Have more information about that coming out soon! Best of luck to you.

Thanks for letting me know that...yeah, all in good fun. I'll be sure to take that out of the title and only use it during a video. Thanks!
