Hi , mate , I was born 23rd May 1968, in a village called bushmills, I grew up as a protestant, but my family are from both sides! Yes , your comment says it all , we as a people should just stop fighting & just get on no matter who you are or what side your from , ! I have sayed many a time from years ago, we all bleed the same, & we are all brothers & sisters ,! As my family are from both sides, we just want to stay in peace & stay in the UK,

Nearly 50 years on Northern Ireland is now a totally different place for the better. Sinn Fein is now the single biggest political party with a mandate to govern.
I am Catholic with Irish heritage and totally ashamed at the way they behaved in Northern Ireland, they are the architects of there own misfortune, they would be in a stronger position has the troubles never happened.

@georgeaye7535 Indeed... but I have to ask... if the only motivation for being a good person is avoiding punishment or wanting a reward (heaven or hell) is that person REALLY a good person...? 🤔 I can think of plenty of reasons to be a good person seperate from any belief in God or religion, reasons that can be proven and that are objective.... not faith-based. Maybe we should focus on explaining those reasons instead of making up other motivations that are also used by powerful HUMANS to scare people into submission to authority.
