    This is just one of those stands that they tried so hard to make "Unique" because they have so many star platinums and the worlds. The basics in stands and specs are what make them usable and fun, while still being unique to an extent. Let's hope the devs do something with sol.

      At the end of the day the dev's are talented dont get me wrong but I don't think they have any idea how to balance a fighting game. Old aut combst system was just press a button to win.

    Sol and Nocturne's rework Ideas: (Likely Over Powered)
    Sol Rework Idea
    M1's: Normal except better in some way
    E - A 5-7 hit barrage similar to SPR's barrage, when the attack hits, Sol barrages the enemy from all sides in a star symbol. Full barrage damage (If all punches hit): 60
    R - A standard heavy, but if the key is pressed again, Sol teleports behind the opponent and Heavy punches (the current heavy animation and SFX) them again in a cinematic (Heavy knockback on second punch) First punch: 30 Second punch: 30
    T - Similar to current, except it actually works and does not pull them back as far. (Ie. deals much more DPS and only pulls them back a bit) OR A standard beam of energy.
    Y - Counter
    F - Time stop (5 seconds)
    G - Sol pounds the ground, high damage, and massive knockback
    H - Cinematic Beatdown: A small barrage, then the enemy and the user teleport to above the forest, where another small barrage occurs. They then teleport to inside the devil's palm, more barrage. Teleportation to the sky for another brief barrage, then they go to space where the barrage continues. they are shown above several places in space, above the earth, Mars, Jupiter, and then are teleported to outside a Blackhole, where the barrage finishes and the enemy is punched into the hole. Deals 150 damage with 50 in the barrage and 100 in the black hole.
    J - Sol Star
    V - Teleport
    B - Blackhole: Heals 30 hp
    Nocturne's Rework:
    M1's: Normal but with more stun so it can combo into heavy or other moves
    E: Normal
    R: Normal
    T: A double projectile slash
    Y: Normal T but it does damage throughout the dash
    F: A Cinematic beatdown: a short slash barrage, the enemy gets thrown into the air. The background then fades to black and the enemy is slashed through several times from different angles (If that makes any sense) and is finished by a slash-crashing into the ground
    G: Current F move
    H: Time stop or beatdown (beatdown can go on F or H)
    J: A spin slash with mid-small range
    V: Teleport
    B: A upwards slash, the enemy is tossed into the air and lands on the blades of Nocturnus's hands, and blood is sucked from them, healing the user.

    Little story time: I fought the current number 1 player in ranked for when Broly came out, since he was using sol the only reason he won was by move stacking his entire set to get a fat stack of dmg. End of story time

    Best true combo for sol, is finding a random arrow, talking to pucci and getting rid of your stand, then using that arrow. Hope this tip helps you guys

    SOL is a runner’s stand and here’s reasons why: has a decent projectile, has a good teleport, and has a move that aims itself.

    I like how the best way to use intangible punch is to be used against a stand who misses their auto barrage mainly sp and stwr and yet it still won't be that reliable.

      It was worse for jotaros star platinum in the old game was cooler even though it had a recycled move set and it had a theme and nice voice lines do you understand how letdown I was when they turned my jotaros star platinum in to that garbage

    Personally I find it to be a fun stand (Without cheating) despite not being very good. It's like picking a bottom tier character in a fighting game. You know that your pick is really bad, but you can still have a good time playing with them.

    Sol’s heavy punch is on par with GE’s life detect because they are 2 things that can’t move for shxt
    Edit: The move is called intangible punch and the word intangible means unable to be touched so why are you going to be punished for doing the intangible thanks aut you make a lot of sense

      @@ChildOfGo_D allows for you to see players location in a VERY small proximity. Overall just a useless move that should not be in the game.

      @@ChildOfGo_D Life detect just scans the area around you in a medium radius to detect for life signs, and it shows how much health a detected life form has. Literally has a long windup, and doesn't have any purpose whatsoever.

      @@therealsonicrb apparently this game was not buggy or very unbalanced during testing, I think the surge of near 100k people on release combined with roblox's garbage servers broke the game. Or the testers just didn't do there job, alot of the testers were youtubers so most probably only got on to rec a vid and got off so I wouldn't be surprised.

    A somewhat “good” combo for sol if for whatever reason you’re using it is 4x m1- nuclear fusion- teleport- teleport barrage it’s a bit tricky to land if you’re on mobile like me but it’s good damage

    My way of buffing Sol is:
    E: Cancellable barrage with a finisher, barrage itself deals 25 in total, finisher deals 24, this move deals 49 in total, finisher block breaks
    R: Chargeable heavy, 0 seconds of charge up is 38 dmg (default dmg), 1 second of charge is 44 dmg, 2 seconds of charge is 51 dmg, during charging up slows the player to walk speed, block breaks
    T: Neutron Bomb, Sol spawns in a neutron star, its basically WR air bomb, the Neutron Star lasts 3 seconds, and after those 3 seconds it explodes and deals 40 dmg causing knockback
    Y: teleport barrage, 8.2 seconds cooldown, all hits will always hit (with some sort of code that makes it guaranteed always) BUT the exclamation mark will now appear, deals 32 in total, blockable, cannot be cancelled
    F, Sol star now has less windup to combo into m1s, 35 dmg not charged, deals 49 when charged (charge up duration is slightly less), charged sol star hitbox is the same size as the star, same cooldown
    G: Sol grabs the enemy by the neck, does a sick 360 spin and slams them into the ground, dealing 40 damage, 7 second cooldown, uncancellable (note: after the enemy is slammed into the ground, the enemy gains i-frames so u cant combo extend off it, but the player who landed it after the move ends also hardly has any endlag so u can dash out after landing the move, basically both are kinda neutral after move)
    H: Basically the cosmic dust, but sol slams it into the ground, causing 360 aoe (with hitbox similar to Hegale) dealing 25 damage and launching them into the air, has enough stun to be used as a combo extender, but has significantly less stun than older cosmic dust, same cooldown, but has same endlag as TW debris slam on miss, but no endlag on hit
    J: generic Timestop, 6.5 long TS, same windup as SPR ts windup same CD as every other TS
    B: Stand Jump, literally just a stand jump to make up for Sol's lack of range
    I wanted to make Sol a relatively high damaging and a relatively close ranged fighter
    Pls help me with balancing bc ik 0% about game balancing

    Intangible punch, a move which I thought made you have s for the wind up, but later on proven very very wrong.
    I would suggest making intangible punch do what it literally sounds like and give you s during the duration for what its worth and gives you a speed boost while you wind up. Reduce the cooldown and fling on nuclear fusion, and make teleport barrage more reliable with a way to counter it that both you and the opponent has to watch out for (or just give Sol a movement debuff move and make you teleport and able to aim your barrage, or at the very least your barrage aims at where the opponent is consistently). Also a normal heavy punch would be nice for Sol.

    My opinion on sol.
    Its a shitty stand tbh
    All the moves are pretty glitchy and have a painful startup that lets your enemy go outside, take a deep breath, go back and still have time to dodge any of your moves
    the bugs are the main reason sol is shit
    1. Everyone knows the laggy nonsense that people can just walk out of any of your moves if they are laggy enough, teleport barrage is no exception people will either block or dash away from it, making teleport barrage a more of a punish move when the opponent misses a high endlag move.
    2. Intangible punch is the worst heavy I have ever seem in any jojo game the 3 second startup completely breaks this move, its horrible overall.
    3. Nuclear fusion would be a great move if it actually did damage instead of flinging people at mach 10 when they touch a wall, thing is, that glitch is fixed, but only in main game. You see in main game the nuclear fusion ball will slowly decrease its speed when getting close to any object except players, but for some unholy reason this doesn't apply to 1v1s, great move has a decent amount of damage and can be used for you to recover your cooldowns by pushing your enemies away, which is mostly like the reason why this move is great for sol since sol has hellish cooldowns
    4. Sol star, one of the most glitchy moves,
    1. if people walk it after the move is used it doesn't do any damage
    2. theres a high chance that if you block the move it'll completely ignore the damage, even though the move is supposed to be a block break.
    not to mention the painful startup, its basically a horrible punish move, though can be used to counter ts and has a ton of damage + stun at the end of it, those are the only good things about this move cuz it sucks ass
    Sol is just a nerfed version of noc tbh,
    Sol does less damage than noc, has more startup, has less combos, has shittier animations and graphics + it is way harder to get.
    Sol definitely needs a rework.

    You can still combo with SOL without move stacking by doing a full M1 combo, followed by a sol star immediately after. The stun on the last m1 of SOL is long enough for you to land your SOL star if you don't charge it at all. After this you can then follow up with another M1 combo and then finish it with a NUCLEAR FUSION or TELEPORT BARRAGE. This combo as a whole does around 50% of their health and is actually very consistent.

    I think you might just need to get used to using it more. But I do agree about it being kinda weird that the block break would take that long to charge up. I would like it if something else replaced sol star though and I am not the biggest fan of the teleport barrage either. The barrage should be either longer or have a shorter cooldown, or just replace it with a different barrage entirely. I also think it would be nice to have a time stop or something like that.

    In my personal opinion, sol isn't _QUITE_ as bad as people always seem to say it is. Its like dawn, can be really good but needs learning to actually use effectively, but rarely used due to no one putting the effort into ACTUALLY using it to the best of its ability.
    Now I'm not saying Sol is good, nor am i saying he is perfectly fine and needs no changes. I'm just here to say Sol isn't that bad.
    *First off let me say something.* Sol is _TERRIBLE_ in 1v1 modes due to the fact the maps literally ruin Sol's T move and other aspects, which is the main reason why you say its bad. But in actual casual play is where Sol is actually usable.
    1. All of its moves have hyperarmor, (are un-cancelable) which can greatly increase the effectiveness of all of its moves. But in reality this isn't much of an up side when nearly every move in AUT is un-cancelable.
    2. Sol's E move, *its just plain bad,* cant really say much good things on this. You've already covered everything about it and i cant disagree with what you've said, its terrible and too inconsistent.
    3. Sol's R move. Like you said, its a direct carbon copy of SPR's H move, which in its right is already good in its own right, however, it doesn't slow you down, which allows a lot more possibilities. It can be used to bait people or catch people off guard but that's about it.
    4. Sol's T move. Easily one of the _best_ moves in the game. It can completely shut people down due to the long stun and large knockback while being an almost guaranteed hit due to its massive range. Although the main problem is how janky the move functions. As you have seen, it doesn't work at all in 1v1 maps, while a lot of the time it just doesn't do damage unless you are in an open space, which is where this move shines. Its a get off me move which can also be used as a combo ender. *Saying its a bad move due to the fact that 1v1s break the move is a terrible argument.*
    5. Sol's F move. *_Its just overpowered._* The main argument you bring up is the fact that it is easy to counter and is hard to hit, which is *COMPLETELY WRONG* due to the fact that its wind up is completely based on you, you wanna know why? Yeah, _because here's this very little known fact that can completely change how you see sol._ *_You can charge it up, increasing the damage and the size of the star._* You wanna know why this is so overpowered? Because it makes Sol star nearly unpredictable as you can change the wind up, plus the fact that *if you get hit while charging it, you can literally just let go and you immediately cancel out whatever move they were about to use on you.* _Yeah its that overpowered._ And if you land it the amount of stun on it guarantees an E or a T. And if you dont land it? No sweat, it barely has any endlag so you can just dash away scot free. This is the main move in Sol's arsenal for pure damage and is also probably the only reason why this stand is even usable.
    6. Sol is the perfect counterpart for Noc. Let me explain: Noc is a stand that relies on fast and short combos with relatively low cooldowns, which contrasts with Sol's relatively slow moves and medium cooldown burst damage which is almost the polar opposite of Noc. Its actually quite the cool polarity between the two designs and concepts.
    TDLR: Yes, Sol is a *complete dumpster fire of a concept and with terrible execution,* but it doesn't deserve the reputation it has right now, "The worst ability" when in reality it can be really good if used right. Its one of my favorite stands design wise and have one of the best effects on any ability. Too bad AUT is rushed so stuff like this is ruined.

      Sol's f move is not overpowered. If you've ever played gpo and have fought captain zhen, he'll do a fully charged ground slam which is quite similar to sol's f. if your opponent does this once or twice, just go out of range the next time they do it and you're set. Yeah, it's a good counterpart to nocturnus on paper, but when actually playing it's horrible. Nocturnus is supposed to be a combo stand, as you said, having combo extenders and such. The damage, though, is absurdly high for a combo stand, with all of the moves dealing around 50 damage. If you're lucky, you can use 3 of those moves. For a combo stand with low cooldowns, that's insane. the problem with sol is the damage. I think they were going for a high damage stand with low combo potential, which is exactly what they did, just in a really bad way. nocturnus deals way more damage than sol, but can actually combo.

    I came up with some ideas to buff Sol’s moves:
    Teleport Barrage: Make it a pure combo tool by fixing the combo with it that you mentioned, basically being a combo finisher for when you knock the enemy away
    Nuclear Fusion: Make it a single-hit move that stuns the enemy on impact instead of knocking them back, making it a combo extender or starter
    Intangible Punch: This is probably my personal favorite concept I came up with. First, move it off the R key and give Sol a normal heavy punch. Then, make it so you have complete invincibility during the windup, and the more you get hit during the windup, the stronger the move is, and if you fully charge it you preemptively use the attack and the enemy is completely stunned regardless of if they block or not, but as a trade off if you don’t get hit during the windup it doesn’t block break, allowing the enemy to block and punish. The point of this move is to punish enemies for trying to use a combo that isn’t true or just being an idiot, overall being a unique hybrid between a counter and a get off me move. No idea if it would work, but hey, it was fun to come up with
    Sol Star: Give it an attack on startup that, if it hits, stuns the enemy and locks them into the rest of the move (also the attack would still follow through regardless of if the initial hit lands or not). If the enemy tries to block the initial punch, they’re still locked into the rest of the move, forcing them to take some damage or get their block broken (or use an escape move if it’s quick enough).
    Overall, the theme of this fan rework is combo potential. Most of these moves serve as combo starters, extenders, or enders, with the only exception being intangible punch letting Sol have a defensive move outside of teleport. This is the first time I’ve done something like this so it probably sucks, but hey, criticism exists for a reason

    One of my favorite specs in old aut and it’s currently barely functional
    R hitbox is tiny as hell, they made E just like 15 free damage and nothing else
    The m1s are a janky disaster that can’t combo
    F is good until people realize it’s blockable and only your tiny ass hitbox half a frame long R move is the only Block break, the only, ONLY thing xchara has going for it is it’s heal

    12:30 the same thing happen with d4c's clone bomb where if you just press G without aiming, it would do anything. My take is that they put the cooldown script inside the local script that will trigger when you press the key, not when the skill actually comes out. What's worst is the aiming mechanics in the clone bomb skill is so inconsistent that my clone comes out only 10% of the time

    Fun fact:
    Sol star has hyperarmor, which mean it cant be cancelled and you can actually use it while you are been barrage or getting combo’ed
    Same goes for R, it cant be cancelled. But it cant use while getting stuns xd
    I know these cause of the Infernasu gameplay with sol

    To be honest, I think they should just completely rework SoL,hear me out
    First, I think they should remove intangible punch and change it for a regular heavy punch. Second,change teleport barrage for a regular barrage, boom 10x better already. But, I think they should keep nuclear fusion but set it to a set amount of damage like 60 or 65. SoL star should just be changed to whatever(I don’t really care what it is just make it better than that kinda bad move) and finally,Sol’s new move(idk what it’s called,galactic dust?) it’s fine just buff the dmg by 5

    Sol is supposed to be the “rival” to Noc, but comparing the two is a joke, Noc is better than Sol in every single way, it does more damage, since bleeding is pretty op still, and bleeding is applied for every move except for the m1s, the moves comes out faster, and one of the moves gives you decent enough mobility, and the things that Sol is good at (m1s and teleport), Noc is does better or the same as Sol. Also, I’m not sure this is a hot take, but I just think Noc looks cooler than Sol lmao

    12:37 @Eclipse, it is a charge move. Pressing it makes it use it but not have any affect cuz it did the move but it was so small. Try holding it for a long time then releasing it, it will make a larger star.

    It has a 200dmg+ combo if you get the right aim with teleport
    4 m1 + sol star + 4 m1 + teleport barrage
    This isn't a stack combo, its a real combo that you cannot escape
    Depending on the stand you are agaisnt, you can use nuclear fusion to cancel a timestop or throw the enemy when you are in a dangerous situation

    I wish more OC stands felt more “JoJo”. Like one of the main reasons JoJo is fun/cool is because of how villains/protagonist make the most of their stands, no matter how weak.
    That, and the designs. Generally, stand designs are SUPER unique, and tend to include colours that clash, to add a pop to each stand. These stand designs just kinda feel edgy.
    That being said, the whole point of AUT is that it’s a stand game that has OCs, and doesn’t follow JoJo exactly. I also get it’s nearly impossible to make a whole new stand design with a cool ability.

    I do agree on somethings he said in here, but first with sol star, if you hold longer, you get a larger hit box, but the windup is longer, and second, I believe they did state that they will add more moves to sol and nocturnus since they have little to no moves.

    Also, the reason why when you stand in the effect but dont take damage is because of the same reason why if you miss the first punch of Triple Muda on TWAU. It's something close to a grab but doesn't function like a grab. If you hit the first hit, the rest will have a hitbox on the person you hit it on. And no one else (I think). Oh yeah I think if you counter it, you still get hit cause it techincally hit you on the first hit. (Tbh they should just make it a grab with some cool animations)

    Sol
    M1s and TP stay the same
    E move - Normal SPTW Barrage but with buffed damage
    R move - Skull Crusher - Grab their head and smash it with your other stand hand which send them flying
    Ball move (idk the key) - Remove it and replace it with a counter that if you get it, stuns your opponent and tps behind them doing the tp barrage
    Star Move (idk the key) - Decrease the start up, increase the range
    Time Stop - Yes I believe this stand could use the time stop back

    Idea for sol, you can charge up a meter by doing damage or charging it manually and then when it's full you have an increased range on sol star and a lower windup on the punch, though you only get 3 charges before you have to charge again. Edit: also have sol star charge be storable

    I think they should make it so that teleport barrage stuns your opponent in place, but to make it not that overpowered give it a bit more windup, and make it so that there's a identification on top of your head when someone uses it like there is with Tusk's wormhole barrage.

    I think they should make a y move that throws a small orb like the t move but smaller and if you hit somebody with it, sol teleports around the player or dummy in a star/circle movement and shooting a barrage of the giant orbs like the t move (obv not doing the same damage each orb) or just fixing the other moves lmao

    How to use sol's other moves properly: First the r move can be used as a combo breaker/trick as when finishing sol star it has an animation close to looking like the sol star finish animation and people will go for a barrage most of the time so i use the wind up to my advantage as a combo breaker and then add a nuclear fusion after it as a way to be able to secure a combo break and a little bit of damage

    a good way (in my opinion) to fix tp barrage is to re adjust or re do the mechanics almost completely or smth, when u press tp barrage key make it have a bit of a longer wind up but if the opponents block during the wind up the move wont activate but will still be on cooldown and it wont tp u to the opponent, also make it so that if they dont block within the amount of time they are allowed to block, they will stand still and the tp barrage wont do like 8 damage and maybe buff the damage to like 45 with an ever so slightly longer cooldown because it is a star platinum and star platinum is always good, its jojo game logic basically

    As a sol main I completely agree that sol is well…worse than bad you do have like one way to make it work however and it’s not very consistent that method is just whatever you do make sure the match stays in basically permanent neutral I believe this is where sol performs best and I also believe this is the true intention behind nuclear fusions design also the super armour on intangible punch (what I consider to be sols worst move) and sol star sorta help with this goal but that’s really murky as I said it’s inconsistent but if you want to do decent with sol this is gunna be your best bet by far
    I’m not pulling this out my ass by the way I played sol basically exclusively through out all of season 1 and a bit of season 2 because Iv picked up the world as a secondary since well as a sol main I kinda need one

    IMO sol was one of the most heavy hits stands. Before the new nerf came out for it a with the valentimes update. You were able to do, lmb x4, sol star thingy, lmb 4, and then barrage. You could also range while your barrage charges up with the ball thing. It wasn't used right, and since hardly anyone used it during 1v1s. No one I would go against would know how to counter it. (Which is just blocking all the lmbs)

    Sol is a very defensive stand kinda. If the enemy blocks, use teleport barrage because of block cooldown. If they play aggresive, use the star thingy or nuclear fusion. play your cards right, and you may be able to succeed.

    I think this would be really cool to have nuclear fission to combo with a spirit bomb type move like with Goku in DBFZ You have some up close options and you focus on backing your enemy away from you and stunning you to launch a big attack

    Teleport Barrage can be changed to something like Tusk's Wormhole Barrage (the barrage will hit no matter what), aka put a sort of warning sign that the move is gonna hit them, and decrease the endlag (for christ sake this move's endlag is overwhelming); Nuclear Fusion should be adjusted to only deal damage when this move drags the enemy to the wall/a certain distance (and ofc fix the darn knockback), i agree that R should be a normal strong punch, and Intangible Punch should be some other keybind (and for uniqueness sake maybe this move can give i-frames, i mean, its called "Intangible" Punch for a reason right?), Sol Star should have the same startup and hitbox no matter what (so remove the ability to charge up this move, and either decrease the startup or make the hitbox larger, also decrease the endlag)
