Yep no doubt about that. But pretentious people gonna pretend like he ain’t cause the author wants you to be disgusted with him. How is a trench coat wearing guy who says shit like “I’m not locked in here with you you’re locked in here with me” not a badass.
@@Halfort57 no not really, just to acknowledge that he's a deeply fucked up and flawed person with a lot of wrong opinions who still always does the right thing despite those opinions without flinching or breaking his principles, even in the face of the apocalypse. Too many people just jump to the opposite extreme but he's not meant to be either worshiped nor reviled, he's just one of the many pieces of their messed up society (and in a way, ours) both a product of it and representative of it.
@@Halfort57he’s a fictional character people are allowed to feel what they want. Darth vader is one of the most popular and loved villains. Whenever he’s on screen people cheer. And he’s killed more people and children than Hitler. But I still find him to be a cool character and feel no shame whatsoever because he’s completely fictional.
@@tenjenkthe author apparently found it extremely disturbing when people would come up to him in comic conventions for autograph signings saying they really liked roasharchs character. Which I find to be dumb as fuck. The same thing is happening currently with the joker the director hates that people liked the movie and the character of Arthur fleck. Even though people are just enjoying fictional characters and it’s not really a big deal whether they like or dislike them
Nobody could have delivered that line any better than Jackie Haley, truly a legendary performance. I can only imagine the feeling the director and production must have had when seeing that golden take of him screaming "You're locked in here with me" for the first time.
This film was by no means perfect (although I actually did enjoy it a great deal), but Jackie Earle Haley BODIED this role. He TRANSFORMED in this movie...Anyone that read the graphic novel has to admit that he nailed this character. Some of the other character depictions? 🫳🏾 Eh, a bit dubious, but HIM as RORSCHACH?!? 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
To a great degree, Jackie Earl Haley carried a number of the same qualities over into Guerrero on "Human Target", also based, though far more loosely, on a DC comic.
Probably the best scene in the whole movie. Sure, the movie was good, I even played some video games based on it but the movie itself lacks some more action in my opinion.
I know this is just a movie, but prison and jail inmates should not have physical access to each other to do harm. I don't care what they've done, it is wrong to allow prisons to be so dangerous. It is an anti-human authoritarian mechanism, allowing prison r@pe and mutilation like we do is cruel and unusual punishment by proxy.
Rorschach is one badass character.

@@bradley8258as it turns out, apparently, you're supposed to feel disgusted by Rorschach levels of violence.

“I’m not locked in here with you. You’re locked in here with me.”
Damn that’s a cold blooded truth right there.
Right? Becoz Rorschach finally has many booty to taste in that prison
@JasonJayC1 Imagine Punisher saying that when he is attacked by thugs that wanted a piece of him but lost miserably

I'd watch a Rorschach only movie anyday.
He would be a great solo lead character in a film.
Hands down the best character in the movie
This is the true batman voice
*Police arrests Rorschach*
Also police: "It'll be fine, right? I'm sure it's fine."
0:40 Rorschach : None of you seem to understand. I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with *ME*!
Yes, we just saw, but thank you
Otis probably had the worst possible way to die in the movie, it took hours until his heart finally stopped
Very underrated movie this one, I enjoyed it.
Am I the only person who thinks that Rorschach has the voice and look of a young Clint Eastwood?
Sahame we never got those two in a movie together. Two brothers tearing up
Masterpiece ever
Hell yeah! Thanks man.
All of the people who felt the need to say "you're locked in here with me" before he said it - I don't like you.
Next Dr Manhattan and Comedian at Vietnam war please

Let's be honest, this would be a very good adaptation of Manhunt
That was so crazy. That's something The Joker would do to someone.
He deserves his own movie
He’s so cool

Finally this reaction!!!!❤
Crazy line
thank you for this
no es una buena adaptación, pero es una película EXELENTE
More watchmen sense please!!!🎉
Do the intro/opening credits scene next please, the "The Times they are a-changing" sequence.
What crap is that Deadpool, compared to this movie!!
Sorry dude... this all reactors talking over each other is... not for me. Best of luck with your channel, but a better format might be better.
Opening credita scene for watchmen please
Hardest line...

Any chance you could do the Rorschach atomized by Dr Manhattan scene next?
