Hi Lisa! I love hearing about people who go camping. In their arby's! We lived in our camper for almost 9 years and enjoyed it very much. We just sold it this year in our back in a brick and mortar building. I'm still listening to you video so I will probably comment it again.😊
Wow, I don't think I could handle camping for that long, A little too much togetherness for me! Plus I would really miss my sewing room and my outdoor gardens!
I absolutely love that New Look pattern! I made one of those shirts, and just bought more material to make more of them! It’s easy and comfortable to wear.😊
I'm so glad you like how yours turned out. I think I do have some fabric that will work. I had forgotten about the black/stain glass looking knit fabric I had gotten from Minerva that I had shown in a previous video. So I think I will make that fabric up in this pattern. Thanks for watching and commenting! Happy Sewing, Lisa 🙂
Hello! Wow! I’ve just recently got into buying pdf patterns and I’ve really struggled with this newer Friday pattern called the Donny shirt, my first with them, and it has really gave me fits! Lol. I finally found a brief video on how to tape the pieces or papers together but your idea of clipping or cutting the corners looks sooo much easier. Enjoyed my first of yours. . Please keep them coming! Nancy, from Northern IN
Thanks for watching and commenting, Nancy! I haven't made any Friday patterns yet, but I think the Donny shirt is pretty popular with the sewists on YT. I'm so glad I learned about cutting only the corners of the pages because I have a lot of PDF patterns to put together! Happy sewing, Lisa 🙂
Your stripe top is so nice. Looks great on you. I enjoy seeing your patterns, fabrics, and how you plan to match the fabric with the pattern. I always put my pdf's together the way you did but I'm going to do the "corner cutting" method next. Thanks for passing this tip on.
Hi, Judy! Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope the corner cutting will save you some time. Sometimes I feel like I’ve done a whole craft project just putting the pattern pages together ! LOL😆 Happy sewing, Lisa 💕
Recently found your channel & am enjoying your vids. The top you made looks really good on you! I enjoyed hearing about your camping trip & I like seeing your patterns, fabrics & also hearing about your plans or process re making things. I admire folks that can make their own clothes… maybe one of these days I’ll join your ranks 😅😊
Thanks, I really like that sweater and am considering making it again this winter. There are lots of cute clothing patterns for beginners. You just need to pick one out and go for it! 😀 Happy New Year! 💕Lisa
The two sweat shirt fabrics are from Minerva and the green waffle knit fabric is from the Sewing Studio. Thanks for commenting and happy sewing! Lisa 🙂
