Brian Cooley, I don't know if you ever read these, but I have the urge to tell you that in my opinion, you do the best car reviews. You always keep everything interesting and natural, and you always know your stuff! Thanks for doing what you do
I won't lie, the Aventador is one amazing supercar but the way Ferrari designs their cars just has me. The way they sound. Everything. Like this car, the F12. It is a SUPER powerful car that looks like its in disguise. The power is my favorite. I love it. Bellissimo!
This guy Brian is a great car reviewer. He has terrific delivery with an interesting voice that keeps you engaged, and I can watch the guy all day - great job.
That bar on trucks is called a "Mansfield's Bar" & it's been there since the late 60's after Jane Mansfield died in a collision like the one in the video.
Amazing video, love the brand new look of the brand new Ferrari F-12 & not stopping there I've also learned a few thing's into this video, thanks CNET. I've learned a-lot today, thank you.
Great job on the oil change. Only thing I would add is make sure the rubber seal comes off with the oil filter, otherwise you end up double sealing and you'll definitely have a leak.
I love that part of changing oil when u highlight the cool/hot weather oil ... we are using the ones for hot weather in saudi LOL except the south of saudi which is all mountains over 12900 ft :) just saying it. thank u COOLEY
I never use a filter wrench to take off an oil filter. Tighten till snug, then 1/2 a turn, maybe a bit more, comes right off using your hand the next time.
Fantastic ! Just when I though that Americans can't do anything tasteful on a TV / Internet anymore this thing comes out. Well done Cnet on cars, very well done.
I love you're '88 Ford Country Squire. No really I do. I've always had a thing for station wagons and Ford Crown Vics with big 5.0 V8s. Very solid and reliable cars. On the other hand I've always had a thing for Ferraris too. :) Thank you for sharing and thank you for the great shows!
The best ferrari of all time in my eyes and in my heart the best sounding along with the 599 GTO and for me this is the best car ever built in my book screw turbos screw super chargers if you want a true monster luxurious SuperCar then choose ferrari no cheats here FORZA FERRARI BABY !!!!
Jesus this F12 is so underrated. NA with over 700 hp and a beautiful V-12. Why is this car not making headlines? Not to mention its great looks and GT comforts.
Edward Snowden I agree, the Turbo is an engineering marvel and what I meant by the F12 is underrated is you don't hear as much about it as the 458 (also a brilliant car) and the LaFerrari, thats all.
It's gonna be 4 years old this year, so it's expected that it's not as hot now as it was...Top Gear named it "Supercar of the year 2012" and it received many accolades, thus I think it has never been underrated.
+Edward Snowden I believe comparing it to Turbo S isn't fair; one is a 4WD sports car, the other RWD grand tourer with a supercar performance. So far I can only think of Aston Martin and Maserati Granturismo being the closest in the same group.
+Tim Young this car is making headlines nothing underrated about it...maybe if your american i dunno...last naturally aspirated v12 ferarri will make and known to be one of the best sounding car ever. google novitec f12 and listen to that beauty kinda sad this reviewer didnt touch on how good it sounds.
jbell2184 Maybe I didn't mean overrated but the last few years all you hear about is the perfect 458 and the new turbo-charged 488 GTB as well as the LeFerrari leaving less press for the F12.
The scarier thing is not under riding a semi, but a tow truck with those flat beds. I always keep my distance from those trucks because I really hate to be guillotined along with the roof of my car. Gives me the chills just thinking about it.
I don't know who said that but they're idiots. And some commenters say this is "junk", ha, this is hardly junk. NOONE who puts down this car would turn it away if one was offered to them free of charge. RUclips comment sections are becoming the oasis of idiotic people.
I lost a friend in a rear underride accident. We need tougher laws! It was devastating, and we couldn't even have a proper burial, because of the amount of damage done to his body. Worst type of accident to lose someone in! R.I.P John
1. why did you not prime the new oil filter? (put a small amount in so the engine doesnt start dry) 2. i did not see any mention about making sure the old o ring is still on the old filter so you dont put on two o rings which leads to leaking
xCobi While i like the F12 more, from what i've seen the aventador puts power down much much more effectively. ever seen them race a 1/4 mile against each other? The lambo blows it out the water lol. AWD 2 gud
Yeah Brian did say in CNET's Jaguar XK video that he was a twice former Jag owner but he has also said he doesn't like buying new cars at new car prices in the video about the Volkswagen Jetta TDi Sportwagon.
I had exactly the same feeling. I expected he owns a state-of-art new car (like Jeremy Clarkson) or fancy customized classic not a regular vulgar wagon. Bear in mind he likes new direct injection engines, hence it raised to questions in my mind: they must pay really bad in Cnet or he is greedy. nonetheless i like cnet on cars.
+Tim Young In California insurance cost is based on number of miles driven. A BMW * 10,000 miles/year could cost $1000 to insure! But an old beater like that 80s wagon is likely only $300. (Example: My Mercedes is 3 times more than my Honda, even with the same # of miles.) .
I love cnet on cars. You deserve much more views. As you have the power of being "CNET Style", why dont you use publicity on RUclips. I am pretty sure that Car enthusiasts exist even on the Saturn, if they'd listen to the AMG soundtrack :p
Hey thanks cooley on that SN or C part of type of oil, i had a diesel suv and i kept smelling funny things in my engine, i looked at the empty bottles of oil used and realised that my mechanic used the S type of oil.
This guy's part of the scarce amount of good auto reviewers.
TheMASDrummer Agreed.
Brian Cooley, I don't know if you ever read these, but I have the urge to tell you that in my opinion, you do the best car reviews. You always keep everything interesting and natural, and you always know your stuff! Thanks for doing what you do
CONDUCTOR WE HAVE A PROBLEM 90p
Shmeeeeeeee !
At last, a US car journalist that knows his stuff!
My first time to watch this show & I'm a fan, I like this guy. He seems like his gives an honest assessment.
Quincy Jones ditto
I won't lie, the Aventador is one amazing supercar but the way Ferrari designs their cars just has me. The way they sound. Everything. Like this car, the F12. It is a SUPER powerful car that looks like its in disguise. The power is my favorite. I love it. Bellissimo!
Love this presenter. He makes me just want to keep watching!
Recently found CNET. The reviews are pretty good. This guys amusing and funny. Look forward to more reviews.
yeah i recently found it too. Both this guy and Chris Harris from /Drive are good fillers for car reviews when there isn't any Top Gear(UK).
WOW, this is a great show. Really informative, which we dont see much, especially not in such depth while still entertaining. Great job! Subscribed.
I love Cooley's dark humor, and approach to reviews
love these reviews this guy puts out
"press it once for bumpy road, press it again uh for smooth road" lol. I love this review and car.
In my opinion this is the best designed super car! Such a beast!
"you can also take a shower without changing your underwear"...haha
What a great host!
This is the first CNET On Cars video I have seen and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now to watch the next one!
Wow, maybe the best explaination and review of an engine I've seen on the net. Great show guys, I'm now a subscriber!
Your videos are great. The in depth explanations and total covering of subjects are very appreciated.
This show is surprisingly good, none of the usual US bias plus great and honest commentary...
Im starting to like it, suscribed!
Amazing video, love the brand new look of the brand new Ferrari F-12 & not stopping there I've also learned a few thing's into this video, thanks CNET. I've learned a-lot today, thank you.
Am I detecting some genuine affection for the F12 from CNET's host?
One of the best episodes of the series.
Congrats Brian.
Great job on the oil change. Only thing I would add is make sure the rubber seal comes off with the oil filter, otherwise you end up double sealing and you'll definitely have a leak.
I could watch Micheal Cooley do the laundry and still enjoy it
Wow I really like your in depth reviews. Subscribed.
i love it how Cooley is all about tech and his cars are old school BTW great episode and that ferrari was craaaazy
I love that part of changing oil when u highlight the cool/hot weather oil ... we are using the ones for hot weather in saudi LOL except the south of saudi which is all mountains over 12900 ft :) just saying it. thank u COOLEY
Professional and awesome review as always. You really know your stuff and keep the viewers interested.
This kinds of cars deserve Cooleys reviews, hope I could afford one of that Ferrari's soon. Good job Cooley

Andrew Caracciolo Well said man. Couldn't agree with you more. I love Ferraris! The best supercars in the world.
What dreams may come.... Geesh! What a beautiful machine--GREAT review, as always
Jesus this F12 is so underrated. NA with over 700 hp and a beautiful V-12. Why is this car not making headlines?

I had no idea those guards were for that. I thought they were just there. You learn something new everyday.
Cooley and CNET make the best Car tech show.
The scarier thing is not under riding a semi, but a tow truck with those flat beds. I always keep my distance from those trucks because I really hate to be guillotined along with the roof of my car. Gives me the chills just thinking about it.
This show is only getting better, and it was already awesome.
Great presentation.
esc off. now time to call your insurance company tell them theres a claim coming
Great episode, thanks for whoever provide the F12 for the review.
Amazing show. Thanks Cooley for making my week :)
6:11 haha, love the camera work. subtle comedy here. "that's the sexiest thing under sheet metal you'll ever see"
I love his old school hand positions :)
Hey C-Net. There is currently a La-Ferrari for sale in the current DuPont Registry. You should contact that owner and see what u can pull off.
Brian, you are so amazing
You have a unique style
Very straightforward review. i love it.
When an American starts talking about cars I often think of the Pontiac Aztec.
they've got it all wrong the Ferrari FF is the supercar for all seasons
14:45 How to Change You Oil the Right Way - having flashbacks ;-)
Wow, the most informative video! Thanks!
Great content as always, but this episode had problems with the audio. I hope this does not become a recurring problem.
I dont know how people can say the corvette stingray is better than this car
I don't know who said that but they're idiots. And some commenters say this is "junk", ha, this is hardly junk. NOONE who puts down this car would turn it away if one was offered to them free of charge. RUclips comment sections are becoming the oasis of idiotic people.
Tim Young I don't love most ferrari's, but I love this car!
You should realize that there are a lot of stupid people out there. Don't take them seriously.
So enjoyable to watch a professional, rather some pillock.
Thank you Cooley!
Very useful video on oil changes.
The VW Lupo 3L was the first car to have a computer-controlled self-shifting manual (2000)
.
So freakin' professional.
Internet video has come to age.
14:48 Brian wearing Chuck Taylors?! Now I've seen everything.
I lost a friend in a rear underride accident. We need tougher laws! It was devastating, and we couldn't even have a proper burial, because of the amount of damage done to his body. Worst type of accident to lose someone in!
R.I.P John
Gorgeous color combo
Great show, keep the good thing coming :D Thx!
outstanding job!!!! these reviews are great. Cooley rocks!
they also say nee-saahn (not nissan)
great review though - this guy knows his stuff
1. why did you not prime the new oil filter? (put a small amount in so the engine doesnt start dry)
2. i did not see any mention about making sure the old o ring is still on the old filter so you dont put on two o rings which leads to leaking
This show is awsome!
hands down for the detailed review. more exotic car review pls.
that engine is the most beautiful engine in auto making.PERIOD
for me ...
F12 > Aventador
Laith Abusailik that Hennessy venom joke had me lol
Justys Grimm are you 14
xCobi While i like the F12 more, from what i've seen the aventador puts power down much much more effectively.
ever seen them race a 1/4 mile against each other?
The lambo blows it out the water lol.
AWD 2 gud
Laith Abusailik lol I agree man.
That v12 is the best thing ever put in a modern car.
Hendra Di Um, isn't the Aegra in your background picture Twin-Turbocharged? Case closed, lmfao.
It's not a hybrid, it's KERS or ERS , Kinetic/ Energy Recovery System.
CNET On Cars is awesome!!!!!!!
His daily drive is that wagon? I pictured him to have a 5 series sedan or something...
Bear in mind he likes new direct injection engines, hence it raised to questions in my mind: they must pay really bad in Cnet or he is greedy.
nonetheless i like cnet on cars.
piotr sobczak Maybe he just enjoys wringing every mile out of a car. If it works for him, why bother replacing it, right?
+Tim Young In California insurance cost is based on number of miles driven. A BMW * 10,000 miles/year could cost $1000 to insure! But an old beater like that 80s wagon is likely only $300. (Example: My Mercedes is 3 times more than my Honda, even with the same # of miles.)
.
electrictroy2010 I did not know that. You Californians have crazy car laws lol
Love this show, Mr. Cooley you are cool
Active aero was used in the Mitsubishi 3000gt's back in the early 90's. Great ep. tho :)
Cnet's getting good at this!
Love the F12 in that colour.
for me, Ferrari is Ferrari. then there are cars, even beautiful ones.
I love cnet on cars. You deserve much more views. As you have the power of being "CNET Style", why dont you use publicity on RUclips. I am pretty sure that Car enthusiasts exist even on the Saturn, if they'd listen to the AMG soundtrack :p
This is the best color scheme for this car IMO. Any idea what the name for the paint is? Grigio-what.
appears to be grigio silverstone
I never considered the F12 to be a pretty car until now. This car deserves a metalic color.
Best looking supercar to date imo. Best looking ferrari no doubt.
Really good review of the f12
did you drive a veyron? wondering how that double clutch stand in the civility category.. i'm guessing pretty refined
great episode, nice choice of cars cooley!
You own a 68 Mercury Cougar wow!!!!!. Cooley the Car gods are truly smiling upon you.
great episode!!
Hey thanks cooley on that SN or C part of type of oil, i had a diesel suv and i kept smelling funny things in my engine, i looked at the empty bottles of oil used and realised that my mechanic used the S type of oil.
Great great show!
The recently discontinued Renault Wind has the same roof action as the Super America. It doesn't have the clear roof but the same roof opening action.
Cooool show... Cooley you are best...
The "PS" button activates the parking sensor not the launch control
DREAM CAR!
active aerodynamics was introduced to road cars in the pagani huayra, if Im not mistaken..
Oil change last step- Put a sticker in the door jam w/ date & mileage. WRITE IT DOWN!
I use the blue painter's tape and a sharpie.
That is waw, always a big fan of cnet
Love the show!!

Can you guys at CNET please review the Ferrari FF.
