- Join the team for a challenging off-road trail in Wyoming, then it's on to Utah to explore! Many said it could not be done with the full size rigs, so we took it as a challenge to see what we could learn. #xoverland #overlanding #wyoming

S4 *by far* has the best soundtrack of all the XO seasons - and this episode got me more than a bit emotional.
Well done Clay and Team!
Thank you!
Thanks for joining us, enjoy the trail everyone!
love this brings back memories. I made that trip in 1992 in a 1974 bronco. Wish I was back in Wyoming
Like all of the vehicles but that Gladiator is B.A.
Great video! Wyoming is bitter sweet. I love the tree and mountains in CA to much though! I just posted my first few videos let me know what you think of them!!
Can you send me an email sir?

With the Christina Trail taking 9 hrs to complete, why not camp at the lake for the night? How did you keep your kids from becoming cranky?
The flying around Flaming River Gorge was just flat out awesome!!
Hands down our favorite flight ever!
They really did my home justice. X overland rocks.
@@ExpeditionOverland Clay, that was utterly spectacular! You could give David Attenborough a run for his money. The only thing that would make it better would be to watch it on an IMAX screen. Well done!
Watching this series has been so much fun. My folks live up in the Bull Mountains in Montana, so watching you cross the state has been a blast. I drive through Harlowton every time I go home. Lander is great, my daughters and I spend a lot of time up in the South Pass area, and even did a mini-expedition up there to watch the last Solar Eclipse. And Utah, my current home is a place as you said that never disappoints. I kept a boat on Flaming Gorge up until just two years ago, so while familiar with the area, I love seeing the view from up high. I do think that boating that place on a late fall day when it's empty and flat like it was when you were flying it might be just as much fun. We're a four wheeling family as well, also in a Tacoma so I'm also watching your equipment with great interest. Keep up the GREAT work and keep enjoying life! You're an inspiration to my daughters and I!
Thanks for inspiring all of us to explore the majesty of the west whether driving or flying. Awesome!
Thanks for watching!
You ALL are doing such a great job of portraying the challenges and overcoming them. A great testament to your entire groups strengths. Your boys will never forget their trips with their parents and aunts and uncles. Keep up the good work, it's inspiring.
So amazing. This makes me want to look past my physical limitations (amputee) and go explore this country
go for it. Its not impossible my dude
Go for it, man. Don't forget to document it on RUclips. . You will inspire the world.
I have been following ExpeditionOverland for the last 4 years. Clay and his production is so inspirational. I am in finance doing 8AM - whenever, but one day, I hope to do something like this. Keep up the good work. A fan from California.
Since we are planning a trip to revisit Wyoming and Utah again in 2020, this is the perfect episode to watch, super excited.
Awesome!
If you guys want ideas on where to explore...
I know very well the feeling of ending this adventures ... and if I felt it here, I can only imagine how was with you all !!! ... just AMAZING !!!
Again ... and it's never too much to say ... Thank You !!!
Shots were great! Editing is DIALED IN!! AND that clip with the eagles??? EPIC!!
I think that was the best episode of this season, and one of the best you have ever done.
This was my favorite episode of the series! Well done!!
Most have stated what I feel after seeing this show. Only I’d like to add the airborne video and flying does add to my thoughts, EPIC dramatization to showing us, the viewers the bigger picture of outward bound places I will never get to see.
Its really neat to see explores treat themselves, the vehicles, and the gear that goes with it with such careful consideration.
Intense movie, really inspired me to overland with my family. 💯🎥
You are an amazing film maker, the sound at the end similar to the Walking dead intro music. The visual effect no one on the overland community as that high level. Just WOW. but your passion and adventure and peoples are amazing too. Continue your good work...
Great to see the kids along on this one - looked like a fun adventure. Utah rocks. And that drone work - WOW. Epic.
This was an amazing adventure. Your videos are incredible. The experiences of overlanding couldn't be documented much better.
Clay I love all your videos but these Rocky Mountain series are the cream of the crop. Greetings from Bountiful Utah! Thanks for providing good entertainment I can enjoy with my little girls. Keep exploring and sharing!!
Awesome episode. I love Utah.
BREATHTAKING BEAUTY VIEWS COLORS SCENERY VIDEO WEATHER FOOTAGE 👌 THE FLIGHT WAS AMAZING ! GORGEOUS SHOTS WITH CAMERAS ! LOVED THE BIG HORN SHEEP 🐑 ! THANK YOU ! BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS ON YOUR JOURNEYS ! ENJOYED !
I did 2000 miles in Utah last year off-road and each time it’s something unbelievable that I come across
Unbelievable cinematography along with story! Thanks team! Have loved every video you've released but this is a masterpiece!
Great footage!!! Utah...is just is friggin awesome and the flex on the Jeep is just friggin epic
I hope to meet you guys some day! you all have inspired me in so many ways from trials, exploring and getting out of my comfort zones! Im from Oregon and I'm always searching new trails. These episodes have been AMAZING! I take my kids out on the trails and hope it inspires them as well!
Ashley is a knock-out.
This looks so fun.
Another amazing episode. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
OMG that is a very beautiful place thank you for showing your expedition on youtube
I'm moving to Utah in 4 months and seeing the views you all found have me even more excited! Loved this season. Can't wait for the next!
Two more episodes to go!!
@@ExpeditionOverland Only two? Sniff, sniff...
Freaking love these guys and what they do, Such inspiration. !!!
My 6yo daughter watched this episode with me. She recognized Buckhorn Wash. She asked me "how many days until our next adventure?"🤔
At some point you guys just need to make the move to Bush Planes.
Sold.
Just WOOOOW! This must be one of the most beautiful cinematic videos ever made by you guys!
Good show lads and ladettes. Utah looks spectacular!
You guys should do like a fan trail run/ meet up
Kyle Gauthier people have been asking for that for years
We will keep working on that 👍🏼 and see what we can do!
@@ExpeditionOverland That would be so amazing.
Great vid! Best one in the series. I like how you didn’t make paragliding the main feature, it was icing on the overlanding cake.
Absolutely love your videos! They always get me in the mood to edit my own!
Thank you, that's awesome!
Some of your best footage yet.
So glad you guys made it to Christina lake! Too bad the youngster had a hard time fishing.
This season makes me miss Montana sooooo much! Haven’t lived there in years and, while I enjoy the Texas Panhandle, the Rockies still call my name.
I would love to see all the aerial footage of you flying around Flaming Gorge! Way to finish with a bang!
Great video as well. I can't wait to explore the Christina Lake trail area.
Wow... Just Wow, today's episode has had the the most dramatic cinematography and music that i have ever seen. The editing is amazing and inspiring. Congratulations guys Just Wow.. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2020. From the Vega Family in Sydney Australia. God Bless.
Thanks so much Rodrigo! We really appreciate it!
Solid front axle for the win! #wheelsontheground
#YouAintWheelinUnlessYourPullingTires
Nice video, keep them coming ✌
Oden & Sampson are the beast rigs unstoppable
As expected, another awesome series. Waiting patiently for the next episode. Merry Christmas to everyone. Stay safe !
Truly an amazing adventure!
I was in the Buckhorn wash just a month ago myself. Brilliant episode. The flying with the eagles was super cool! Well done!
Love It, Thanks
Thank you!
So stoked to see y'all's boys thriving as part of the crew!
I am a flight instructor in the Daytona Beach area in case you guys ever want to take a discovery flight in a brand new single engine airplane in Florida let me know and I can arrange discovery flights and we can explore some of the beautiful coastal areas in the south east region. Maybe you guys can get your private pilots license in the future.. Keep the adventure going!!
I can't wait for them to come to Florida either. Let's make it happen!
Love the Wedge. Nice episode boys, keep on truckin' on!
As always, another great adventure, with great scenery. Keep the adventures going.
Great series team, Merry Xmas thanks for sharing.
Remember, Richard - No matter how cloudy, rainy, snowy, or foggy it may be, the sun ALWAYS shines down on the cool... so put on your sunglasses!!
Holy crap! After you left Flaming Gorge, you guys were about 5 minutes from my house!
Also, thanks for doing a flaming gorge segment!
Buckhorn Wash!! Thank you so much! I have been trying to find out the name of that site since visiting back in 2017 while traveling the Trans America Trail. Great video as always
Great series
Im glad I subscribe to you guys, loving this stuff. Cheers & Merry Xmas Steve
Love Utah’s Lake Tahoe 🤙🤙
Great series!
Thanks for the new adventure series wish happy new year and all the best.
The drone work was incredible in this one. I used to fly the Inspire 2 - were you guys using the X7 camera system? Props to the pilot on this one...
The drone shots in this episode are Hollywood level. Who’s the pilot(s)?
Third!
FIRST on Kurt's comment!
Everywhere.
Can't wait to hear more about the Heritage Edition LC 200. What role did you play in the development?
Christina Trail is fun did. it in a 98 Ford Expedition in Sep 2019
200 is the best car in the group
Kurt and Rachelle agree. ;)
Wilbur hands down
Spot me bro. Lol
Have you guys considered coming to the OBX of NC and fly? After all it’s the birth of flight
It's hard to argue there's a better overall platform for overlanding than a newer JL. That Gladiator looked right at home.
You have to watch the CVs on the 200 Series they are weak. The ABS sensors are also prone to failure which will give you issues turning your centre diff lock off as the electrics are linked. I had constant problems with mine over the 5 years I had one. The 200 isn't made for rock crawling just towing caravans.
"It's gonna get bright out today."
*rain*
As a person who has some flight hours in private planes, and really yearn to do some bush flying and a kitfox build, I'd found myself looking into PPG. It's so damn attractive in its mobility and accessibility like shown in your vids, but there is a tremendous risk factor involved, especially where there is opportunity for unpredictable winds (mountain flying), and is just a pretty vulnerable form of flying. I've never found within myself to push past that barrier and I think much shown in your recent vids semi reinforce that. PPG looks awesome but....just not sure about it. May stay focused on a fixed wing.
At 9:15. When that brake fluid starts to boil from the heat, thats a scary feeling
Y'all need a low mileage 05-06 Tundra 4x4 to build,It would show so many people they don't have to buy a brand new vehicle.
We went through this wall with EXPEDITION Utah last year
what lake was that with the ridge? stunning!
How good is the patriot campers TH730
💕💕💕💕
any discount codes for general tires?
Ha my family goes camping in San Rafael everyone’s in a while.
Ever weighed the tundra?
Did you ever figure out why the Tundra was the only vehicle who's brakes were failing?
Kurt mentioned “new landcruiser” in the Q&A session - what did he mean by this?
Heritage edition 200
@@ExpeditionOverland Can't wait to see it. Excited to hear he was involved. What is his role in that development?
Where's episode 6?
Big Sky Country 👍🏼
@@ExpeditionOverland 👍✌
Does piper get any trail time?
Not much unfortunately.
Windrivers are possibly the best trout fishing in the world. Please don't tell anyone.
When are you guys taking the rigs to Russia?😬👍🏼
So, what’s next? .......the moon?
That would be a let down after all they've done so far. LOL
The toyotas would "thrive" on that trail with solid axles.
Toyota brakes have been garbage the last few years.
Taking down a tree, even though it’s dead, doesn’t really sound very “leave no trace”?
BMA I mean they had to get around it
Being a dead tree that’s sort of an “it is what it is” Not ideal for sure but you know these guys wouldn’t do that if they had another option
Am I the only one that is tired of seeing and hearing about the paragliders. Just super uninteresting to me.
Not with epically amazing footage, music and narration like that from this episode.
