it's been decades, since I've worked on electronics, especially the tube-types - at some point, if you can provide the numbers off the turn-table, it's-self, and the chassis number for the tuner/amp unit too - we might be able to pull-up some specs, to trouble-shoot... You might luck-out and find _'RCA'_ type connectors, from the turn-table to the amp - if the original can't be sorted out - another one may be dropped in. (the RCA plugs may be spot-soldered), and there may be a switched, two-prong outlet, from the main chassis, to power the turn-table) - if you have a DMM/DVOM, and we can get some test-points, to check things out... Cheers-
@@staleyexplores - Also: there may be a schematic, in with the included booklets/manuals - that would be _'gold'_ - may be in-side the back too; some included an envelope, taped inside the cabinet... Cheers-
@@staleyexplores - ⚠ Hey Staley, a latent thought to caution you on - when you get into that cabinet - older (vintage) large-capacitors, do-not tend to self-discharge, like most of the modern ones do - what this means, is something that may look like a small aluminium _'can'_ (cylinder) - next to the power-supply (usually, right near the power-cord attachment, to the chassis) - ⚠ those can hold quite a charge ⚡⛈ ⚡you may, yet don't have to discharge it (after unplugging the power-cord), short the capacitor terminals _"pop!!!"_ - otherwise, don't touch those terminals/leads, or the chassis (ground), and the other terminal/lead! I don't even know, if there is one, in your console-player - yet, _"Heads-up!"_ Cheers - stay-safe! 💜
@@markaoslo5653 this is super valuable information also. I have heard about this but didn't think about it in this context! Cheers bud and thanks for all this fantastic insight. 😎
I love the looks of these classic cabinets. I'm not even interested in the turntable part or the speakers. I've all ready got a decent surround setup, but the look of these makes me want one for the dinning room wall I have that's empty. Though I guess I could use the second cabinet on the top to get a new turntable to run to my receiver.
Yeah the radio still works and sounds so good even though the speakers I'm sure aren't in the best of shape. I may just remove the record player bc I have an external one. Use that compartment for storage of CDs or my vinyl collection that is ever growing at this point
It really is built right and aesthetics are on point no doubt!! Not to mention I really enjoy listening to it, right now it's only the radio but if I can get that record player going then we are super good to go. Ty friend and I hope you are well!

These old radios just have too much mojo...at over 6 ft long and probably weighs 200 lbs it's a keeper. 😊
Old is gold. I like those classic pieces 👍
