hey just wanted to say thanks for this vid... trying to diagnose probs on my 02 Sentra SE-R, ended up with 0000... guess it's going into the shop. thanks for the help with this part at least!
Careful with this video lol, you said "turn your car on and then press pedal 5 times, then hold for 10 seconds", make sure you clarify that you turn the car to the on position, don't actually start it! If you hold the pedal for 10 seconds while idling, you could mess some shit up, lol.
KillMeNext THATS A RISK. LOL.......Ive been getting some repots of it working......yes aware ya might flood your car.......but I warn people......lol THANKS @killmenext
My 02 spec v is cranking but not starting, service engine soon light is on. I tried using y friend's v-checker reader to diagnose it but it kept going back to screen where I can either choose generic mode or professor mode. I select either mode, it says trying [ISO] mode along with a few other modes and then just goes back to the select generic or professor mode. Any help you can give me?
does this apply on nissan sentra 2000? how does it do if you do this code thing? does it reset the computer? I dont know anything about cars I just want to know.
yet the car electrical ignition needs to be turned off then start the vehicle. Addition to having the vehicle at mid tempt before starting to relearn the throttle body.
Dude all you do is start the car before turning power back off to rest codes it's not rocket science. So I'm assuming your blaming a dealer for your codes. Then go back and make them fix it. What were they any who. Bet one was at least an o2 code and there probably a CPS code too
This could be useful though, the early 2000s sentras i unfortunately learned on my current car, the ECU can fail to the point where you can't pull codes from a reader
She's golden mate!
Worked perfectly. After reading all your codes, hold throttle down for 10sec plus to clear codes

Nissan Sentra 06 The OBD scanner isn't working and does anyone know the fuse for this? Is it the cigarette lighter

So what does 10 mean???? What is 3,7,8? Where is that information, where would that be found???
Randall Sexsmith 10 means your fine. Anything else means theres a problem with your car. GOOGLE "Sentra Diagnostic Codes"
almost the same way you program the electronic throttel body

03 sentra 5sp. Didn't work. did exactly what you did. light never blinked.
Are you pressing the peddle before you do the 5 reps?
I hope this link helps you determine what your codes mean. nissanhelp.com/diy/common/nissan_engine_codes_read_2.php
Don’t know about y’all but my 2004 Nessan Sentra, didn’t like this at all, it didn’t work for my what so ever

I'm not blaming anyone for the codes.......I'm sharing awesome info with the world ☘️
I take it all zeros mean everything's fine correct?
ODB2 reader costs $15
What scanner use in sentra 2004?
Any one will work more or less. ODBII readers are standard. The cheap Amazon $15 one worked for me. The plug is under the steering wheel.
+Vince Lok MaxiScan MS309 bought but did not work and a bluetooth konnwei also did not work

Ha ha ha this method is to rest the throttle position not to read code ha ha ha
Well now.........Ok.
It actually is to read codes
