the "singer"'s the heir and brother to the current lord while "Bruno"'s the son of a servant that worked for a different noble family. A knight discovers them and since there's a scheme to remove the "singer" from his position, goes to report them, which could've resulted in "Bruno" being killed. So the "singer" frames the knight for trying to assassinate him to save his bf. I hope that made sense?
