So distressing & sad -- clearly situation complex, but what about the neighbours -- blind? ... who tied up this poor dog anyway & feeding it ? Story has many loopholes, to avoid accountability ! Sort of happy ending, thanks to the rescuers & vet team.
Wtf I know this is old but wtf man whoever did that to this amazing dog should be in jail let’s hope he goes to a loving home. And thank you for saving all pets and strays from abuse and abandonment on the streets.

Well done for rescuing the dog but the supervisor should not shout at the dog and get a batton out because it will make the dog scared and make the situation Evan more worse
No it was establishing command to make the dog listen and stay away
I think they no best in these situations. It clearly didn't scare it or make the situation worse hence a successful rescue so turned out clearly the right thing to do.🙄
@@BLIND_BEARthere's no "command" or hierarchy amongst dogs nor beetween dogs and humans. She clearly made the situation worse, thats not how u act in front of a dog acting like this. She made a mistake and she was lucky it didnt escalate more.

I adopted a rescue dog that was also found missing a back leg! she is a bullmastiff cross boxer and is named Edwina and is an absolute princess. She is currently sleeping on the couch with the heater on wearing a pink jumper and under a blanket

No case to prosecute!! and the owner signed him over ( not surprising was it? ) I hope he has found a loving home.
yelling and confrontation with an aggresive dog only elevates the tension and could have caused an attack.
I hope the person who did this poor dog lose his leg and gets a infection like the poor dog

A responsible pet owner who has a dire change in circumstances should know to surrender their pets. Languishing is not a strategy.
My mother rescued some cats at her house in rural WY. Two of them were really bonded and she didn't want to separate them. She moved to Texas to try to find a home for them as and finally was able to. At 80 years old I can't help but admire her so much. Good job, Mom!

I don’t understand how you can locate the owner no matter what their issues are but they have no idea what happened to that dog?? Or who tied it up to the tree and left it like that so no prosecution and then leave the other dog there in possession of? What exactly did we accomplish here

OK the black dog is defending territory and the injured dog. the supervisor is an idiot. that is not how you handle and aggresive defensive dog. a real dog person trainer knows better. she should be fired.. good for the other people for helping the injured dog.
I guess if you are in a bad accident it might make a difference. I have ICE contacts on my phone but I don't always have my phone with me. Yes, boomer.I was in a medium serious car crash and I did have my phone but wasn't willing to look around for it because I'm too familiar with spinal cord injury. Luckily, plenty of people were nearby.
