50 talented girls aged 16-22, several centuries of Danish song tradition and a young, fervently ambitious conductor, Phillip Faber: These are the most important ingredients in the DR Danish National Girls’ Choir (DR Pigekoret) - one of the world’s finest girls’ choirs and one of Denmark’s strongest musical brands. The DR Danish National Girls’ Choir was established in 1938, as part of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). The choir is proudly under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

Have you seen the Christmas concert from Dec 2019 together with the Danish String Quartet (and others)?! I've watched it several times so far. There is one particular song that hits me most, breathtaking, and I simply can't prevent tears. Such a beautiful piece of music. Unfortunetly they published only small snippets here at this channel. @@wherethetreegrows Hej Artjom, 🙂 So the concert isn't available anymore from their website, but they have uploaded a few videos from that (Christmas) concert here on RUclips. I haven't watched it since January, and it feels about out of time now in summer, but I still got chills all over my body and tears in my eyes when I just rewatched it.
