it's because your laptop can't handle bcc or ae tbh.. my laptop used to used crash when i opened mbl but I did smth and now it's fine! try to get older versions,, because I have new versions and my ae crashes too so i deleted my files and now it doesn't crash

a lot of bcc effects cause my ae to completely crash and they won't work (i.e. damaged tv, prism, scanlines, tile mosaic, led, etc.) I use ae cc 2021. does anyone know why this happens? is it because I need to update ae or bcc? or is it bc my computer doesn't have enough space/ram to deal with it?
it’s because you probably have an outdated version of bcc with ae 2021 which will cause crashes, either downgrade your after effects to 2020 or upgrade your bcc plugin but if it’s cracked you’re gonna struggle to do that. i just downgraded.

some of these effects dont work when i add it to my clip, my ae shuts down and saved the effect onto a new pf. does anyone know how to fix that?
