Joe Ragman it’s hard to see in the video but they clearly saw the fire through the window and a line wasn’t needed. 1s engine in the city always comes straight in, 2nd engine grabs the plug which the 2nd engine was standing by the hydrant
0:55 you can hear the engine crew state it is a small fire and they are hitting it with a can. They obviously saw the size of the fire on arrival and didnt need to stretch a line.
