Hey Mills as a firefighter in Australia I just wanted to say I watch your videos all the time and there extremely educational and on point , keep em coming
we get so many fire alarm pulls at my school I really need to remember to bring my scanner more often. I've not been able to listen to the fire department dispatch yet. Maybe one day
nice medical run vid bud, as always from Boston, stay safe out there. yeah here in boston were not a fire ems company so u call for an ambo u get an ambo thats it, but 8 out of 10 times you'll get an engine or a ladder on scene cause the medics are always so tied up in boston, crazy, 24 rescues for a city with a nightime pop. of approximately 700,000 and daytime 1.5 to 2 million, especially when we got multiple events goin on, but anyway usual response time here for a medical assist is 2 to 3 minutes when the ambulance is assumed to be 8 or more minutes out, thats when we roll, again lol stay safe out there bud and again nice vid. later..
I would say being a call to a school, that if it involved a child they probably wouldn't be able to tell you anyhow. Privacy & safeguarding issues, etc. Could have been a child, a parent, a staff member, anything. I still don't think they'd be able to just tell you though.
@@schemer1991 Could have been anything - epilepsy, asthma, allergic reaction, cardiac arrest, broken bone, amputation... there's a lot of illnesses and injuries out there, and the last thing you need to do is guess what could be happening.
@@paulbraunstein2290 it’s their sirens they use them how they want same happens with the fire engines from where I’m at all I hear is the q siren non stop no matter what even if theirs no one on the road

@B. Mills Like always, Kickass responses brotha! Keep on goin guys! I was curious though, why two engines to a med run?
Appreciate it. Due to our ISO and city contracts some addresses on the border of the city limits receive both a county and city unit.
+B. Mills Makes since. Well, thanks for the reply and stay safe out there brother!

What was wrong with the person?
question and I seen this in other videos but have 2 engines respond to a medical ? is it just for extra men power?
I'm believe that he said in response to this before that city and county but send a unit. Don't quote me on this.
You're exactly right. Due to our ISO and city contracts many of these addresses receive both a county and city unit.
