Though these products, like almost any product were created in sweat shops, I am thankful for the video as I want to learn to do marquetry for my own pleasure. I cannot afford a laser cutter, and this was very educational...thank you

I appreciate the informative nature of this video, it was definitely educational.
As a woodworker myself I can say that some basic aspects of shop safety were definitely missing for these workers. The workers that were cutting and sanding the MDF backer boards had no respiratory protection. MDF contains formaldehyde which is proven to cause cancer, you should ALWAYS were respiratory protection when cutting or sanding something made with formaldehyde.

If I wasn't so busy with Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible, I'd look into how to craft this exactly…, google his book and look at his designs, they're great!
