I love the old Florida stuff, would love to see coverage of 301, lots of things to see along there. Thanks for all the great videos Jay, hope you have a great week.
I love finding old ruins but I hate seeing graffiti in them. San Antonio, Florida May not have an Alamo but there is a place in Florida that has a little miniature version of the Alamo. Solomon’s Castle in Ona, Florida has a little building that they call the Florida Alamo. Have you ever been to Soloman’s Castle? Very interesting place to go. The inside is not what you would think. It’s a museum of unusual art and sculptures. You can’t film or take photos inside the castle but you can on the outside and there is plenty to look at on the outside too. If you have never been maybe it’s something you maybe interested in. Just giving you ideas on places to places to go.
I never knew there was a San Antonio, Florida! Knew about Texas, lived there awhile! But all my years in Florida, never knew! Guess I got some exploring to do! Lol! :) Thank You Jay for the tip! :)
Great video. I’m a 3rd generation Tampa native. Born in the 60s. My father used to hunt what is now USF.. grandfather worked for the brewery at Busch gardens and the Tampa water works on the Hillsborough river. I love Florida history, especially the west coast... thanks for your time and effort’s.. 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice Snake Plissken T-Shirt, and a cool Movie. The food looks great and I´m now hungry :-) Thx for the trip with you, I like it to see that great places.
Thank you so much for what you're doing I love the travels up and down old Florida. Right now I m one of those old high risk and can I get out much and it's so nice to be able to see what I'd love to be enjoying. you have a great spirit my wife and me just totally enjoy it especially when you ramble on never change.
So kind and awesome of you guys! Thank you so much Herman. I am happy to hear that you are enjoying the videos and are living vicariously through them. That means so much to me. I hope you and your wife are doing well. Thanks so much for tagging along with me, it means so much. I hope you guys have an awesome day.
Thanks for filming these small town attractions! It reminds me of what it was like to grow up in Florida. There were so many back in the late 70s and early 80s. Love San Antonio! Dade City is great too. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for joining me it’s such fun to explore and a pleasure to hear when people enjoy them. It must have been a very cool place to grow up. Thanks again Kristen
Great video Jay - enjoyed seeing this part of Florida and I compliment you on how you presented it - as if we were there with you seeing it. Thank you for posting.
Cool place . Never been to Dupree Gardens though Land O Lakes is just a hop skip and jump away. However, I've been out to Lake Jovita for a couple of retreats out that way at St Leo Abbey which is technically in San Antonio which is pretty cool, beautiful scenery up there with the wonderful views of the Pasco countryside.. Pancho Villa's look great. Thanks for posting!
I love that this channel doesn't have loud and annoying music background music ruining it. It's so much better with just the regular audio void of obnoxious background music. Thanks for that! :)
I want to say I googled Eddie's recently, and it is open, the Mexican restaurant is famous locally, a place in zhills called Los Chico's is from the split up of the business, and the place next to it used to be a public house, I don't know when it closed, if you didn't see it look for the old mission church on 52, very cool looking, I think it's like over 90 years old, it's further down 52 towards 75.
That library think thats great lovely little places do things like that so qaint. A little village in Dorset a stone bus shelter someone over night painted it put carpet down hung pictures, put table in there. Still dont know who it is and they change the flowers. Right now I have to rewind to library 😂😂
You didn't mention that Pasco County has the largest number of clothing optional/nudist venues in the US. Everything from all inclusive resorts to residential communities.
Hey just wanna let you know appreciate you doing the videos are used to live in Tampa up until 1989 after I graduated from Hillsboro high school I think you know where that yet interesting thing is we’re Nicko’s diner is is they’re on Florida Avenue that was a street I lived on Cayouga Street anyway keep showing more videos of Tampa I greatly appreciate it I was not aware of this place San Antonio has existed
Excellent! Great little finds everywhere you go. The music suits it perfect too. You know those fire ants are looking up at you and saying" We're walking Here!".......
Hi Jay, I'm brand new to your channel. I grew up in Brandon, Florida, but now live out west. I am really enjoying watching your videos and it brings back so many memories of when I lived and grew up in Florida in the 60's and 70's.
You packed a lot into this video Tampa Jay... first, those remnants of Dupree Gardens are super cool; so glad they're still intact. It's like they have a story to tell. I love stone structures. Then, those fountains! I can't decide if I love them, or if they're 'extra' but they are like nothing I've seen before. That sleepy little town would be great for a movie. Love little towns. Really great fun going along on your day trips, thanks for sharing another adventure! Stay safe and well Tampa Jay.
A lot you tubes did A lot ghost hunting there exploring there. UGUE and Chris and holywalker did that place. That garden place yea its scary place at nite yea.
It's always good to see people out and about. You found Julio! Justin Scarred has been looking for his fine feathered friend. Thanks for helping me learn something new again today--lots of new stuff actually. Be blessed, Jay!
