Absolutely amazing. I recommend you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place. Whenever you start a short solo trip of 4-5 days, Moses Peak is a must. It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.its open Zone, one did not need a trekking permit or have to pay Royalty fee to climbed this Mountain tower
Hi. Enjoyed your video of this wonderful trail. I used to live in Cumming, GA, which was not far from either end of the trail. Over the years, I day hiked (up and back) all of the trail in GA, and in NC, from the GA/NC state line to Buckeye Creek. I also did the last section from Beechertown/US19/Nantahala River put-in to Cheoah Bald and back (twice). I consider it one of the better trails in this area due to: 1. Excellent marking 2. Nice views 3. Much less crowds than the AT It does not appear you took the side trail left to Whiterock Mountain. It is one of the best views on the trail, and recommend you go back and hike from Jones Gap to that side trail if you didn't do so on your thru hike. Thanks, and God Bless!
The views from knifes edge and the pulpit were just amazing!!
I’m on the west coast and those fall colors are pretty much nonexistent out here…
Beautiful trail! And some nice views.
