Yes. I have been doing a lot of reading challenges. One that is the most work atm is the All-the-genres challenge where I read a book for every genre listed on StoryGraph
@@arobinreads oh I love that! There are so many challenges I could have included. I'll have to do a follow up and maybe include that one. Maybe a video for slightly more complicated or time consuming challenges.
for my birthday I had my kids pick 4 books each off my shelves or theirs and they wrapped them. I know have 8 books (well 5 I've read 3) to grab when I'm stumped on what to read next. It is fun to see what they picked, I'm reading our shelves and it was a fun free gift.
Oh I love that idea! I've been doing a similar thing with the brown paper one because I've completely forgotten what the books are now. So opening them is quite exciting.
I’ve had the same five fiction books sitting on my shelves waiting for me to read them for years (for some of them, at least)! Looking forward to using some of these challenges to work through them
I love my shelves with unread books. I have loads and loads of unread books. For almost every reading event that I am participating in I have one or more books. I let reading events influence my book choices.
your bookshelf looks beautiful! the covers I covet 🥲 But this is such a fun way to get motivated to read my unread books, thank you for the lovely video!
Have you tried any reading challenges?

Thank you for the challenges, really great idea! Will definitely try all of those to try and shrink my shelf of unread older books!
You're so welcome! I hope it goes well for you but is still fun too
Pairing up books is such a good idea! A little reward for when you are done with the chance of maybe having a good time beforehand :D
Exactly! Love a good reward.

I hope they work for you! I know how hard it is to get to those books. Even when you know you'll probably enjoy them.
