      Hard work vs team work ... find those who have your same ideologies .. and stay connected .. the connection should be strong so that in some day if you need to raise 1 crore rupee from it it should come easily from your circle itself ... More friends you have more your abilities ..
      For example if your friend is a lawyer , if your friend is a doctor , if your friend is a police officer , If your friend is a politician , there are benefits
      This is not world of those who hard work , it won't get you anywhere . It is world of those who team work

    Balaji is brilliant and as an ABCD from his generation he said things I completely relate to. When I first went to Mumbai in late 90's I was absolutely shocked how messed up it was. The airport ceilings were falling down, there were rats running around, 5,000 ppl were standing outside of arrivals. In town 80% of the city was slums and there was basically no middle class. Now I go to Mumbai and the airport is world class, 10x anything in the US. The city is booming and slums are maybe 10%. I see more beggars and homeless in San Francisco than Mumbai now. He's so right that third world versus first world is stupid, it's about the direction you are going. Argentina has higher per capita GDP than China but it's been a basketcase economy for 25+ years whereas China has been one of humanity's greatest success stories. In India you feel ppl are hopeful and things are being developed, in the US you feel the country is just going to hell except for the rich ruling class who will hang around until the country fails and then move to Asia or Europe.

And I worked my tail off again as IBM India Chief Architect in scaling Bharti Airtel to support 257 million subscribers by 2013, designed, built in India by Indians, and I’m proud to say that I was a part of it. My perspectives on America and India is very different. Americas best days are yet to come, and India’s as well. India should take the words of an immoral war criminal to be a geo-political foundational principle?
      Also, that statement is laughable. Japan and Germany did very badly when they were America's enemy during WW2. And they did very well after the war when they were America's friend.
      Russia on the other hand? All of the countries that were in Russia's empire or a Russian ally were economic basketcases.

      @richishkaushik5868 9 месяцев назад

      @@drmodestoesq Don't know what point you are trying to make! let me clear mine though. Ukraine is the latest example which illustrates the point Henry Kissinger made. US incited Ukraine to a suicide and the rest will be history. Not the first and doesn't look like it is going to be the last country to have this fate. Which is why I said India needs to smart about its dealing with US.. I know the diplomats are quite smart but unfortunately majoritarian governments are forced to play by the foolish demands of their massive vote banks which in India's case happens to be the Hindu right. So it is important to be prudent and prevent mistakes which will harm in the long term but might appease the supporters at present. India's position on Palestine at UN is one such example where India has more or less been consistent but we all know it is quite unpopular with the Hindu right of India to not support Israel. India already abstained once in recent votings which I think was influenced by what I just described. I believe India in long term will be forced to pick sides and go with US/Israel but I think there is still some time before that happens.

      You grossly overestimate the role that the US played in the anti-Russian and pro-Western sentiment in Ukraine.
      A great example is Afghanistan. America spent hundreds of billions of dollars to train and arm the Afghan army.
      And what happened the second America left? The Afghan army threw down their guns and walked away and let the Taliban take over. @@richishkaushik5868

    I'd like to just leave a comment explaining the 6 degree of freedom robot arm and how it's a really cool thing.
    It's an arm that has 6 control points (motors). If set up correctly what is remarkable about this arm is that its end point can reach every point in it's reachable 3D space. You don't need to do any additional hardware for it to reach a point. It's a purely mathematics problem that is solved in robotics using 'inverse kinematics'.
    I think what the the guest is trying to imply using the 6 DoF arm as a metaphor and an example is that manufacturing the arm at scale, instituting the Quality control, setting up the supply chain etc may not be the optimal strategy for India. We would do better with using the arm and target writing the software, mathematics etc to enable more and more applications using the 6DoF arm.
    I hope this helps anyone who's interested.
