The plight of football in our state and beloved dehradun is deteriorating, I used to play in the district league(lala nemidas) in dehradun, players we had were great but no big opportunities in front of them made them realise that football has no scope in UK , so either they move out of UK to play or they made their career somewhere else, and also our state team is always getting thrashed in santosh trophy , you can check the records of past few years including this year as well, how much politics is there that we can't even qualify for the finals of santosh trophy having immense talent. Hope someday we will become great again and India will play FIFA world cup and win it
