- Wallice has just dropped her debut album The Jester, which arrived on November 15th via Dirty Hit. I started this right after my very first tour opening for Still Woozy in 2022,” Wallice explains about “The Opener.” “As an artist, I constantly have imposter syndrome and think that maybe I don’t belong in the scene. This song is a great follow up to ‘The Opener’ in that I question my career but also have such determination that the work will pay off.” The artist was kind enough to share some off her favourite records and artists on Records In My Life

The Jester is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard! I haven’t enjoyed an album so much since I was a kid!
Radiohead and Fiona Apple being childhood inspirations is a good sign. I'll have to give 'Jester' a spin.
One of my favorite albums of the year, and it took me by complete surprise! I had to sit down and listen to it all the way through, making my little opinions on it as I went, but by the time I finished it, all I wanted to do was listen to it again!
It’s genuinely incredible and honest. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Wallice is so much more than a jazz school drop out
