Enhorabuena!! Congratulations on reaching the 1K subscribers. Your reviews are always so entertaining and fun to watch from many and varied locations too. Imagine being able to spend 30K on a bottle of wine!! This one was good but didnt live up to the expectations of the label. I wonder if it was better after a bit more airing. All the best!!
Congratulations on your achievement! As with Tweedy Pubs, I suspect your wine videos are providing a fabulous snapshot of this point in time. Wine connoisseurs living on Mars in 2183 are going to find these videos invaluable.
Thanks Mr WC21, that's an interesting point! The style of Burgundy has definitely changed over the years, like most wines. Champagne for example is currently experiencing a bit of a crisis of too much warm weather, they're struggling to maintain acidity levels, and I predict over the next couple of decades their marketing machine is going to start trying to persuade us we always like cloyingly sweet syrupy fizz all along!
As i write this you are at 1.02 k; so all is well. You are very philosophical, which I admire, if i had bought a Grand Cru that didn't quite make it I would be grumpy!
Thanks Colin, I actually think the lack of guaranteed success makes it a bit more fun! Also I never review wines objectively (I wouldn't know how to!) so these are just assessments of whether I like the wine or not. Someone else might have thought this was great!
I've subscribed for the fascinating descriptions you give. Seeing your search for words is entertaining and oddly satisfying. Liked the Pine trees too.
Magnien is a good producer.
Greatest Charmes I’ve ever had was a 2010 Rousseau.
Had it at Les Climats in Paris.

Cheers Doug!

Thanks Lesley! I'm completely an amateur at this, but I find describing aromas and flavours a really fun challenge.
Just discovered tweedy misc channel. Looking forward to tweedy scotch channel😊
Congrats on 1000 subscribers! Cheers!
Thanks Mikael!
The longer you went on… well., the longer you went on.
I always hate to see wineo’s in the park devaluing the area, should get a job.
