I don't know if he rushed, he in a way reflected Stevie's style if singing his music. Stevie is known to go quicker or slower on parts most artist would do the other on. Usher did it Stevie's way.
He sung it too fast. I am an Usher fan, and thought he'd really kill this song; but I'm sure it's tough getting up there and tributing the greatest musician of all time.
