- Back in September of 2023, Kagurabachi made it's great debut in Shonen Jump....as a meme manga. However, after 25+ chapters, you have to wonder, is this manga any good, has the story stabilized after all the jokes and memes, and is it worth a try if you gave up on it? I need to just go ahead and pick up this manga! 🤦🏾♂️ The crazy hype had originally turned me off. But with the hype down, it’s a good time to get an unbiased view on it.
I understand. I started reading to understand the hype, then realized half the hype was a joke. And then it was like huh....this has held together longer than I expected. It's worth a read. Someone told me they are waiting for 50 chapters which sounds like a good benchmark to develop a more solid opinion on it.

Kagurabachi is like that to me. The way the panels show what's happening is dynamic and exciting, like the dragon ball/z manga. Story is interesting enough for me, since it's a shonen. Doesn't have to go too deep into the meanings of life to keep me waiting on the next chapter. Hopefully it gets adapted and has a big budget so they can bring the world to life.
I would love this see this animated after 100 chapters to allow for a nice pace. I mean not all stories need to be emotional or deep and I think this story is like, just nice. Has an easy natural and enjoyable flow that you can follow along with. Thanks for watching!

I mean...it was very overhyped at the start. Now that the hype died down, I would say it's a fun ride. Nothing unique, just fun.
