Every band should do this for every album.
Wow, I completely overlooked the message of this song. This really put it into perspective
This song is 100% one of my favourites from the album, up there with pushing daisies
so that's why the lyrics in the beginning were a little confusing for me
Facts, I thought I was hearing shit that wasn’t there
I really wish more bands would take the time to make these "behind the lyrics" videos like you guys have. When the album tells a story the way this one does, these videos add so much to it.
Nice man I can definitely relate to that my exes name was Emily who left me because I couldn't "love myself" and my dad's name is Jack who is an alcoholic.....can't wait to hear the behind the lyrics for I revolve 🤘🤘🤙
why is this band so underrated?
Overrated*
@@david-ndassa7967 How does it feel to be wrong?
@@david-ndassa7967 I've never met another person who knows what neck deep is and most people i know listen to punk
@@david-ndassa7967 do me a huge solid and delete this comment🤦🏼♂️
The song really reminds me of the book "The simple gift" by Steven Herrick, not having everything there for you and not having anywhere near a perfect life but you still get around and have fun, and you find someone that also feels the same way ya know
🖤 love the meaning of this one! Neck Deep 4 Life
Deffo my fave track from the album. Can't beat playing this full volume in the car❤
DUDE IM LIKE AM I HEARING PRITCH? AND THIS EXPLAINS SO MUCH😊🎉
YES I'm so glad they keep making these videos. I think everyone should enjoy and interpret songs for their own enjoyment, but I also want the artists' meaning behind their work.
Thanks to this song, every time my girlfriend tells me something, I would say "Okayyyyy" just like Ben did at the start of the song and we would sing the intro together. My favourite Neck Deep song of all time.
Upon first listen I wasn't crazy about this song, mainly cuz it's a bit more typical with its sound. But when I first heard Ben explain the meaning and the intro vocals , it started to become one of my favs
I’ve always just connected these lyrics to what I can relate to but now that I have the character perspective it’s way cooler
MY FAV TRACK FROM THE ALBUM. LOVE U GUYS SO DANG MUCH
IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THE GIRL YOU SANG WITH!! ...... AND ITS YOU!!!! WTF? Mind blown
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE

My adai hoodie finally arrived today! I love it so much!

I just really love this song xD
Ben be looking more and more like a lumber jack these days
Before I knew about the two different voices I was like “I’m such a pritch”?
lmao ikr
2:32 man that hits. You almost did, but you fought hard.
Yes
My favorite song on ADAI!
sick album
Me and my family
Neck deep🔥😎😎
Okayyyyyyy........
I really hoped the female vocal was Laura Whiteside, ah well!
Same here! Haha
I cant wait for the next album 🤷♂️🤘
i was wondering why it sounded like he said “i can be such a pritch” but it turns out it was just the two “voices” saying “prick” and “bitch” together lol
Hey Ben.
i always thought the female voice was laura whiteside in the intro
So is his name Jack or Jet? I've seen both now.
Jett and Alice are the two main characters of the album. Emily and Jack are two 'perfect' people who put out a false persona, and Jett and Alice are fed up with it (the view-point and story telling).
Yes
