  • Alexander Gavrylyuk performs Prokofiev - Sonata No.7 in B flat major, Op.83 at the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition (March, 2005, Tel Aviv). Since its inception in 1974, the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition is one of the foremost Piano Competitions in the world. Arthur Rubinstein, who gave his blessing to the competition, headed the jury of the first two competitions (1974 & 1977).
    The competition, is held every three years in Tel Aviv, Israel.

    Came from Pollini's famous and fantastic record. But this performance makes even more sense to me. I don't want to miss a single note

    brilliant -- I've never heard so much tonal variation in the Precipitato as in this live recording! And a lot more dynamic grading than in most recording! much more exciting than I was expecting; usually expecting 'just really fast'. Great! Maestro!

    プロコの7番(特にグールド演奏)は耳にタコができるくらい良く聴く好きな曲でいすが、この方の実演はそれに匹敵するくらいの迫力(私個人の意見)です

    His performance reminds me of the younger version of Boris Berman, in a more impressionist way.
