Would also love and appreciate more more THIN HAIR MODELS!! As a hair stylist you always see a lot more women with thinner hair verse extremely thick hair. Finer hair takes a lot more work + effort to make it appear like there is more hair. So it is much more needed!

My hair is long, but fragile and some styles seem like the take down would be too damaging. I also can't wash my hair more than once a week, so if a style leaves me with unstylable hair that needs to be washed, whether due to product or the wave left, it would be nice to know. Thanks! What is funny about braids is that when I was a kid braids is what you wore when your mom didn’t feel like dealing with your hair. If you had two braids that meant your mom was tired. However all the white kids would be enamored! It took me a while when I grew up to embrace braids. Eventually I came to do all kinds of funky braid styles, even though on a level they were where I turned when I didn’t feel like dealing with my hair n
I agree! I used to do two french braids when I was camping because it was a "lazy" style. Now I'm like, "tomorrow I'm going to braid my hair and it's going to take forever and it's going to look amazing for a week!" ;'D The viewpoint has definitely shifted. Thank goodness!
I love this! So I've been meaning to ask, when you do pipe braids or infinity braids, is thee a way to put something in it (like a rat for a chignon) that would make it thicker? Especially pipe braids, I guess. I stupidly tried a pipe cleaner once, but it smashed all the fuzz down and was basically putting a very thin wire in. ;'D But can you think of a way to do that?
