Paganini wrote only the theme. Unfortunately, the variations composer is not being mentioned. Perhaps Mr. Levickis wrote them... any other input to clarify this mistery?

Martynas - This was superb. This is an incredible piece to play on a piano. Absolutely stunning. ONE QUESTION - WHERE WAS THE 18th variation???
Unfortunately the composer for these variations for accordion is not being mentioned. You are confusing the other variations written for piano and orchestra by Rachmaninoff where you can find the famous No. 18

Excellent playing and VERY fine dynamics....many musicians have good technic but not very good dynamics or expression. They sound like a computer performance....not this one! Believe this is the Palmer Hughes arrangement. I am not a fan of playing standing though...but that is my only criticism. I really enjoyed this performance.. I am also a musician....pipe organ, keyboards and accordion.
Playing accordion while standing is much more difficult than playing while sitting
@Zev Zions Standing is harder...but top concert accordionist and bayanist play seated as it gives the player more control of their instrument. It is also a lot easier on the back. If you have a lighter instrument it isn't as bad but most concert instruments are 28# or more. My concert accordion is 32#.
@@RobertKarlBertawhich is precicely why I have even more respect for him - playing such a difficult piece, standing up??? What a legend. Imagine how how good he is sitting down haha
