watari for me would be the biggest buff to L, imagine you tell your watari buddy to act like L and you follow what he says in the meeting with the meeting guidance? And you can tell Watari to do the things that are to rist to L to do
they should add something for L where like he can protect his id from getting stolen like once a match or something or maybe he has like a dummy ID. i'd also like to see the shinigami eyes implemented in this game. maybe like once a match for only the first round kira can choose to see someone's role but at the cost of lowering his kill count or something but yeah we're gonna need bigger lobbies with all these roles

He writes the name, but nothing happens. Since L is the only one who can fake his ID, that still gives him away to Kira. Shinigami eyes would be ending up 12,5% of the lobbies day 1, because there are really just 8 candidates for L to be. You need a better caveat for it, like killing your follower. It's a huge risk.
If they're going to implement the Shinigami eyes, it should be very high risk, very high reward. My idea is that once per game, Kira can get one person's real name (a.k.a. ID) in the lobby with the Shinigami eyes, but if they do, their name will be automatically written in the death note at the end of the day and they will die on the spot from a heart attack. If they haven't passed the note by this point, the Kira team loses the game. The Kira team needs a buff, especially if they're adding a bunch of new roles, and I think this would be a great way, since it can even be used to off yourself if you're sus and play some mind games with if you got killed by someone else or got yourself. Similar mind games would occur if a very sus investigator dies on the spot.

Then the investigators can see if that person has the book or if they’ll pass it to someone else to write in it. What’s sad for L is that the roles to buff him like confirmed investigator, SPK chief and watori are gonna nerf him too because they will limit the amount of players that could potentially be L
i think with mello dropping the game needs a major update, but this idea would also protect L and investigators from being dive bombed at the start of the game. Firstly I think fake IDs need to be given to investigators, and L as well. this would stop ppl from being dive bombed on spawn, L getting snipped, and give investigators a sense of protection against ppl just monitoring them. This would help L's progress bar at minimum and give investigators a second chance at life at best. With that give Follower a special ability (kira's death note - L's joint tasks type thing) to use the Shinigami eyes to kill once a day even with a fake ID and after 2 or 3 eye kills(cuz most games end on day 2 or 3 anymore) you die of a heart attack on the spot maybe for balance? and if kira loots the follower they get the death note back, if an investigator gets it or L picks it up they burn it and win. this would give the follower a very unique advantage and help kira team a lot while keeping it balanced still. but it still forces you to PASS the notebook to the follower for a confirmed kill with fake IDs. to balance out for kira trying to take IDs you'd have to come up with something else there. maybe like if the follower has already taken the fake ID kira can take the real one, or your fake ID is only good for one monitor per match/day? it presents a unique level of gameplay imo and could add a level of "you need to actually figure shit out" that we really need now in the game. Secondly, I think Mello is gonna be used as a troll character and ppl are gonna go nuts with his gun and if anyone tries to monitor them they will just turn around shoot them in the face. this will be a huge problem for the game since 2 kira kills plus a mello kill drops the number to 7 on the first day, and if mello outs himself publicly then its now 6 players. thats basically like kira killing 3 or 4 ppl in one day. But i also think that if ppl actually took the game seriously like it was designed to be played, it wouldnt be so bad. but there's always someone 3rd kiraing or just trolling, plus afk players that join and just sit there for some reason. idk man i think this game could be 100x better if we just got some good updates to it. new maps, new roles, new powers, and a level of protection for monitor tasks. Like imagine if there was a way for players real names to be revealed to team kira besides just stealing their IDs. like canvasing tasks actually gave team kira info against the investigators. we have "name and true name" already in the game, imagine if youre team kira and an npc task told you "D showed me a police badge but it looked fake" or "I talked to the police and F has been a police officer for 15 years now!" then after that you as team kira would be able to steal the real ID of F or D cuz you know their fake ID wont work now or something. the depth you could go into with this game is insane, we just need it to get updated!
I like these ideas, I think different gamemodes or settings for customization so everyone can play the game as they want! Like you could set the fake ID onto only specific roles and shinigami eyes features would definitely need to be a setting. I just hope they open up to all these ideas or give us a way to mod the game, because I'd make these idea's myself 😂

Im pretty sure that another leak was an increased number of players per lobby (up to 20 iirc)
