Nathalie In the US there exists fraternal and sororial organizations at the various American universities. Many are upwards of 150 years old. As with most things in America, there are white ones and there are black ones. The blacks ones started, in part, because the white ones didn't allow black members. The black ones started around the turn of the last century. The oldest started in 1906. The"youngest" started in 1963. They perform community service etc in the various cities. One of the things that bind the members is what's called stepping or hopping. What you witnessed is what's called a hop. They are members of the greatest fraternity of them all...The Omega Psi Phi fraternity incorporated, founded on Nov 17th 1911😉. They are known as Que dawgs (that's black American for Dogs 😀). The song that they hopped to is George Clinton's Atomic dog. A theme song of sorts. That's your brief lesson on what you just witnessed. I should say that the others have their own style, colors etc... however none are as funky as the Ques...RQQ!!!
