Strange I'm just seeing this video today when its been up for 2 days? The original audition video was put down by AGT for copyright reasons, after it went viral and accumulated over 60m views. Putri is a well-documented prodigy and musical genious. There are tons of her covers in various languages on and off her channel. All her covers are either as good as or better than the originals. If u want to start at her early age, I would suggest "Bohemian Rhapsody", full rendition will all seven voices, at age 12 with piano accompaniment. [Of course, you may also ride the AGT journey with her semi-finals (called Qualifier), finals and that duet with Leona Lewis as the website mentioned. I've seen that website and its not accurate; it mentions names that are not in that season with her LOL.] Putri only began to write in English in 2023, I believe in preparation for AGT, that first song "Loneliness". Since then she wrote a few more until it accumulated to an album of 11 English songs and four more Indonesian ones just within a year to make up 'Evolve'. She wrote, composed and produced every single in 'Evolve' @ 18 :)
As you discovered, Putri finished 4th that season. One of the prizes for the winner is a contract with Simon's management/recording company (which he sold in the last year or two). Putri already had a recording contract with an Indonesian label (Sony, I think), so she couldn't accept that prize. I've noticed in past cases when somebody can't or wouldn't accept Simon's contract, they don't win the show. See Angelina Jordan for a prime example (and she's someone you should react to, if you haven't already). I suspect that's what happened to Putri, though the public voting has become increasingly strange and inexplicable in the last several seasons. Also, Putri won Indonesia's Got Talent when she was 8 years old, so a show like AGT wasn't new to her. Similarly, Angelina Jordan won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8. I don't think anyone else has won a Got Talent show under the age of 10.
