5:19 made me cry... . God damn. I am now approaching 40 but I will never forget the feelings of that time. This wonderful soundtrack will stay in my heart forever. We will never have such a quality soundtrack again.
It is a fuckin Monday morning and I am at work, staring at my lap top, checking emails awaiting replies like my replies will cure cancer. I have no desire whatsoever to work but I have rent, bills, food to buy etc... I am thinking about wow days and how awesome those days were. I started playing early tbc on 2007. My mind was blown away with the sound coming from the boots of my very first char a dwarf hunter whenever he stepped on the ground in Dun Morogh. I forgot about everything. Fast forward wotlk days, and this patch. The moment I heard this music... It was epic. I miss the dailies, I miss the heroics, raids..... I wish I could go back time start playing this game again with my friends. On my deathbed, as I am recalling my memories, raiding with my friends, drinking beer and laughing and screaming out of joy each time a boss is down will definitely come to my mind and I will smile. Lastly, to the person who is reading this comment right now: have a great day fellow wow player and do follow your heart!
5:20 onwards manages to distil every single drop of nostalgia and good feelings I have for my time playing during WotLK and for the good friends made along the way. I farmed the hell out of the Argent Tournament dailies for titles/rep or whatever it was and spent a lot of nights sat around listening to the music here but this part always felt so perfect to me, back then it distilled the real meaning of the two factions coming together to take down a bigger foe and now it's pure nostalgic bliss for the halcyon days. Such a simple melody but beautifully composed and performed.
Oh my god... the memories just overran my mind. I wanted to put some relaxing music, because it's raining and I have to study. Now, I boarded the nostalgia zeppelin to Northrend. All the raids, the instas, BGs. How I miss it, being a child, not having any care of the world, just getting geared up. Maybe after some time, when I am stable, I will return for some casual playing. WoW is so magical. Truly is a masterpiece, and the fact that it is still going, no matter in what form, is still shocking...
Music like this makes me miss the game.. remembering the fun back in the days makes me want to play again.. but i realize it will never be that way again. It sucks knowing the greatest game was ruined by the greed of mankind. RIP WoW.. despite you live on, the game will never be the way it was intended to be.
Same here this music is my happy place in wow. Hit 3 on your keyboard when the video loads and then hit the right arrow key twice and it starts on this track ;)
0:29 you can hear someone take in a deep breath. Either way this is awesome. Someone needs to make an hour long loop or something. Could easily fall asleep to this if it was just a bit longer.
After a day of festivities the Heroes, and aspirants of Azeroth wonder... Can we really defeat the Lich King? Are we dying for nothing? Will our Heroes, and Heroine be enough to stop the scourge? Only time will tell, along with hard work, and steadfast progression. We can only put our Faith in the Light, the Earthmother, and in the hearts of Stalwart men.
must not......... cry :'( my story.. we were a group of 6 who started wow in a pvt TBC realm..we raided raided raided.. Then we upgraded to wotlk.. bitched abt blizzard.. then w thought.. wotlk is not bad.. the one day came the TOC patch.. the first time we went to this area... we did dailies together.. our excuse was to just listen to this very music.. now that was2 years back.. we have left Wow and moved on.. no more raids.. no more Bgs.. just life.. so my friends do not get addicted to wow.
i heard the more somber of these tracks playing in the ruined houses in deathknell. dunno if it was just the pserver i was playing on being strange, but they were 100% there, and i won't lie i stayed inside for lil while just to hear it out lol. love the argent tournament music.
One fine piece of Music. Especially the very slow part. I love it, always it comes up I stay there and just don't move. I Love fantasy Game soundtracks in general an dI thought nothing would ever beat spellforce in terms of Soundtrack, but wotlk (surprisingly) at least comes pretty close. =)
I now understand how to have fun in this game, just play it, people complain about how pre-tbc was the best time but i just realized that we will always want the past because we think the past was the best, listening to this song gives me nostalgic feelings of TOTC and i remember during totc how much i used to hate the game, man i love this stuff xD
Anyone else have memories of screaming at your pc when having so much damn trouble with the 2 "jousting" dailies? lol. BBC & Among The Champions - like when the city champion wouldn't stay in the ring & would venture too far up the hill and turn green. Haha, i still get there occasionally as i still want a few of the mounts :)
damn, reminds me so much of the endless weekend-nights, spent almost entirely at the argentum-dawn-tournament^^ so many good memories and good friends, epic fights, fun and epic loot^^ back then, before blizz screwed the whole game up in favour of noobs, kiddies and fast progress :P
A minute of silence for our comrades who played without in-game music. Those poor souls haven't the chance to cultivate music-triggered nostalgia receptors in their noggins.
@Skandalos Haha, I might even consider doing that! Sounds awesome. Personally, I'm addicted to this music. For better or for worse. My playlist goes rollin' every day now since a few weeks back. :)
AUGH Why was this never on the soundtrack album?! Blizzard, if you have shown me anything it is that you do not mind taking my money, so by all means-let me buy the SHIT out of the Argent Tournament music.
the first time i heard the music from 2:40 it was at the summoning stone seeing horde and alliance chasing each other in circles on proto drakes. It looked silly
Here's a secret: download the best 50 tunes from WoW, put them on your USB stick and play it in your car wherever you drive. Instant epicness in real life. No, Im not kidding.
i member me and my orc DK climbing the icecrown mountains lvl 77 after months of leveling...to then find out that in the end game most people are jsut scumbags...sad...
We still have Sargares as a threat and deathwing to be fair was alot older then Arthas or thrall game lore wise. Cataclysm just had a poor mid game and bad execution with the villians. I will agree thou a part of warcraft has ended but it is the heros journey to return home now.
David Arkenstone is such a badass. Speaking for all the people who have sense, we'll all miss WotLK. People missed BC after WotLK came out, but Cata is just a retarded expansion aside from the music. It's too easy and it is nothing but a money-maker for Blizzard now rather than being chock-full of artfully crafted content. I wish I would have been around to do Karazhan or Black Temple the way they were supposed to have been done.

5:18 Gives you the feeling that you finally feel safe after weeks of dangerous journeys :)
this is the best comment on yotube ever
Arguably one of the best tracks in the entire game. Still coming back to this a decade later ❤️

Well wotlk is still going, it's just as packed (if not more) than retail. In warmane, dala is totally full
@@macrons593 That may be the case, but the experience will never be the same. :)
@@olivert4648 I guess. You'll never experience it for the first time again. But I still think it's worth a shot

i always loved to bring my toon and make him sit there.. the armistice makes it much more easy to listen to this music in peace... :)
It's sad stuff my guy.. but good times indeed.

I rely on shadow and demons but your speech will do :)
Ya, we killed the Lich King remember? Then Tirion tried to steal the helmet but Bolvar went and ninjad it.

Anyone knows if this can be found in Spotify / under what name? Can't find it. Now with WotLK Classic I want to spend a lot of time here
Anyone know of the original version of the music at 5:20? Or is this the original version :O
The original version is a soundtrack from Castle in the Sky composed by Joe Hisaishi.
Whats the name of the song that starts at 5:20 and goes on until the end?
Beautiful music to just enjoy :) WotLK was the best, imo
kind of lonely at the tournament though...ah well me and my guild of five all agree that Wrath of the Lich King was the end of the good expansions.
Any way we can get a 10 hour loop of this?
Feel Like this Music is made for Blood Elves :)
