Do you add a tiny bit of blue food coloring to your white royal icing? I watched a RUclips video when I started decorating and the instructor said she adds a touch of blue food coloring so the icing doesn't turn dull and grayish. Thank you.
Hi Cathy! I haven't tried this. I've heard that some decorators add purple to their icing to make it appear more white, but I haven't heard this about blue making it look less dull/gray. Thanks for bringing it up!
