Back Roll Transition Kiteboarding - Tricks of the Trade with Tom Court

In this episode of Tricks of the Trade I go over the simple Back Roll transition on a kiteboard. This is an extremely useful move that translates into strapless gybes and other transitions move with a kite as you get better on the water!

Thank you for this, got my first successful backroll surface transition today. Been trying backrolls and just getting battered. Thought this would be a better trick to get used to the rotation whilst trying not to loop the kite. Great video, will stick to these until I feel more in control of the kite and rotation.

yes its the same movement for strapless or foiling... a long slow upwind cut + kite timing! 👍
