They say a man is only as good as his word. There have been times where I bid on something in an auction and end up finding it elsewhere. I won't back out, I still pay for it like I said I would. People raised without morals or integrity are the issue with the world today, and it creeps into all aspects of life, not just diecast. Trust and respect is earned, so make yourself a trustworthy person and the respect will follow. Interesting topic my man!

I disagree with the ghosting and not having the common courtesy to at least message the person FIRST and not last minute to let them know you’re canceling.
Yeah brotha, common courtesy goes a long way. I really think that we need to start reminding people of the old days, before contracts existed haha.

Probably just move on if they didn't honor and get the item. Dont stress yourself out. A hobby should be supposed to bring you joy and interact with other people. It's not the end of the world and not your loss either. But block them next time they want something from you or remind them that previous deal was mess and hoping it wont happen again.
Yeah definitely a good idea. I’ll start blocking them that way I don’t have to worry about doing deals with shady folks. I don’t really stress myself out about it but it is pretty annoying though. I appreciate the feedback bro, thanks for chiming in and stopping by!
A mans word is everything..unfortunately i've had made deals where the sellers end falls short. Very disappointing to say the least. Finding pieces to complete a set and getting slapped in the face when they dodge you after they agreed to have them when the meet up happens annd ooopsie,.."i forgot" is the response when you had just messaged them hours and days before to keep things legit..never again 👎💩
Well said brotha, I completely agree with you. Both parties need to be all in. I’m guilty of forgetting items but I try to make things right. I think everyone deserves a second chance but when they keep doing it over and over that’s when I draw the line haha.
