Sauske is socially awkward when it comes to showing affection u will see later on like when sasuke spent the day with his daughter he was completely awkward and to be honest embarrassed himself in front of his daughter to and extent lol it’s just weird and hard for him to express these things so when it comes to public displays of affection even when it comes to kissing his wife it’s behind closed doors that’s also why he glanced at his daughter because public displays make him uncomfortable to an extent but it’s really cute and sweet that later on he genuinely try’s to give that to his daughter
Exactly. The Novels actually expand on that, like their private time in Sasuke Retsuden - but Sasuke still being awkward at some points or opening up so much that Sakura knows when to end a conversation. (It will get a Manga this year too, so it's great to have more people see that of them because usually, we don't get to see how they're like in private)
Then there's also "Sasuke Shinden: Star Pupil" where Sarada told Sasuke he had Sakura's lipstick on his mouth and he tried to wipe it away. Turns out it was just a joke😂 But it does imply that Sasuke and Sakura kissed earlier that day and Sarada saw it without them knowing haha
Guess Sakura was waiting for a poke too, but, she kinda forgot Sasuke only has one arm and she just gave him the food.
Nah, she was looking for a kiss. But because Sasuke is so awkward, he doesn't do pda, especially not in front of sarada. Tbh, he would have done it (if the novels are to be believed), Sasuke loves to tease Sakura

Suzy. Because when Itachi killed their parents, Sasuke also shouted Don't do that, and when Sarada did it too, he remembers past and stopped.
There was an end credit scene, I don't know if you noticed :)
I loved this arc when it came out on paper, a really good transition between Naruto and Boruto, plus tying loose ends with Sasuke and Sakura ^^ There's actually a Light Novel that explains that Sakura left the village a bit to join Sasuke, it was teased after the 4th great war, it's a shame we didn't get to see it on screen
The novel will get a manga adaptation this year. Hopefully, it will be animated as well.
@@ceooftatakae7678 That Novel is actually part of Boruto's timeline and takes place somewhere post-Gaiden and pre-Kawaki.
Sakura is the only person where Sasuke loses his cool, u can also see this in the novels like Sasuke retsuden and Sakura hiden.

What's that novel title?
Sarada was conceived in a forrest around Sasuke's Birthday while Sakura was traveling with Sasuke. When Sakura went into Labor, Sasuke took her to one of Orochimaru's hideouts bc there was no hospital nearby. And Karin devilered Sarada. They formed a bond that day and that's why Karin keeps the umbilical cord.
Sasuke's not a deadbeat dad, he's not gone because he wants to be gone, he's gone because he HAS to be gone. Not just for his mission, but also for his family's safety. He is the only one in the world now with the Sharingan and the Rinnegan plenty of bad guys will stop at nothing to get their hands on his eyes. So, whiles he's out searching into the Otsutsuki, he's also keeping bad guys from attacking the village and his family.
In Sakura's novel, she is kidnapped in an effort to capture Sasuke. Sakura didn't want to be a burden to Sasuke (even though he was on his way to come save her. [Bc spoiler alert: He Loves her] Sakura saved herself and cleaned up everything before Sasuke could even get there. That's why he's not too worried about his family's safety.
Yes, im so sick and tired of people calling him a deadbeat dad. He is gone because he has to protect the village, and because of his eyes, its literally explained in the anime that he has to stay away because of his powerful eyes.
also, Sakura and Sasuke TOGETHER came back to Konoha after Sakura gave birth. They came back with a child. Sasuke lived with his family for 3-4 years, until Sarada learned how to walk. And then he went to the mission.
There is a interesting speech by Sarada after the credits of this episode!

I lose it every time! I'm like "You should tell Sarada about some of those times, Sasuke!"
Since you have watched ep 23 now I can say you should try reading sasuke's novel as well it is about sasuke's travel and his missions with sakura and even the birth of sarada. When sarada was born sasuke stayed with her and sakura for sometimes in one of orochimaru's hideout.
There's no such Novel, please don't spread false Information about that..
The Novel's that include Sasuke/SasuSaku are just:
• Akatsuki Hiden Epilogue (No scenes between them or whatever but Sakura is described as the spring sunlight in Sasuke's dark life, something you may want to know to see how he views Sakura)
• Sakura Hiden (Before their journey - Sasuke returns at the end of the Novel and that's all)
• Sasuke Shinden (Sasuke's journey of atonement - has been animated at the end of Shippuden but they changed the end: in the letter he received Naruto told him Sakura said Sasuke is like the police force, then he decided to come back to the village. Shortly after this Novel he continued his travels with Sakura..)
There's no Novel that is about the travels as of now, so we skip right to the...
--Boruto Era (After Gaiden)--
• Naruto Shinden: Parent and Child Day (adapted in the Boruto Anime but changed a lot of scenes)
• Sasuke Shinden: The Teacher's Star Pupil (Sasuke and Sarada stuff, Sarada jokes that Sasuke has Sakura's lipstick on his mouth)
• Sasuke Retsuden (The Novel that will get an adaptation at the end of this year)
• Naruto Retsuden (Last part of the Retsuden trilogy - contains the SasuSaku kiss and Sasuke took Sakura and Sarada with him to the graves of the Uchiha's)
Suzy I just wanted you to get to this ep so badly this is when I fell in love with this show
It's good that Sarada at least knows the thankless job her father has in protecting the village from outside threats. It's a shame many villagers don't even realize it,but at least he is doing the job Danzo should have been doing(while receiving little credit) the right way. Also massive credit to his wife Sakura and the job she does running the hospital that also helps the villages children dealing with mental trauma another thankless job that some fans don't even give her credit 4. Without both the peace the village enjoys would not be sustainable. Btw great reaction,hope you watch the ending(very important).

Anything about itachi is just heart touching for me
Fun fact : After The last movie Sasuke and Sakura went to travel outside the village and that is when Sakura became pregnant and Sakura gave birth to Sarada In one of Orochimaru's labs.
It's just amazing that how itachi was kind of just a side character and had comparatively low screen time but he still is one of the best character in the shows and reside in our heart forever
Hey Suzy Lu, just let you know that I agreed with Karin in five things.
She's the only one who delivered Sarada while Sakura's in labor, because she really didn't had a choice but to do it.
That umbilical cord belongs to both Sakura and Sarada (a.k.a Karin's prized treasure that she wants to keep as a memory of the time), however it doesn't belong to her,
Sarada's really Sasuke's and Sakura's daughter not hers
Women can be just friends with guys too
And bonds comes in all kinds of shapes.
Oh BTW there's one more thing that I almost forgot to mention to you that Karin's my favorite anime rival in anime.
That sense reminds me when Itachi said this to sasuke " Sorry Sasuke Next time " and now Sasuke finally understand the feeling of love ☝🏻👏🏻
Sasuke never had an affectionate father figure, so he has difficulty providing that for Sarada.

I love how the transition of Itachi's forehead tap has been loyally accepted and passed on by the Uchiha family. That is literally one of the most honorable ways to pass on the spirit of Itachi.

Well, read Sasuke retsuden if you really think they don't have any chemistry.
The flashbacks and the connected relations of Naruto in Boruto makes it interesting in the initial part of the series.
It's good to see that sasuke is carrying his duties as shadow hokage as Itachi did at his time.
The legacy of Itachi Uchiha can never be forgotten and we can see it through sasuke's actions with sarada.
Sasuke didn't kiss Sakura at the end not just because he's an a*hole, he has always been super introverted

There was an end credit scene, where boruto show his dark side when sarada tells him that his dream is become Hokage and then Boruto call her stupid weak.

suzy sakura is her actual mother he said karen's dna but it was actually sakuras
This arc is done by kishimoto himself under the name of " seventh hokage and scarlet spring " and it has a very good sense of writing for team 7 and developmental for sarada ❤ . ( I mean I wouldn't take a head poking in naruto without kishi's approval )
And naruto scaring the shit out shins is just damn funny and awesome at the same time 💯

naruto never killed people for no reasons he always tried to understand them, even before meeting nagato he was the same, since naruto og he always tried to talk with them and why they are doing what they are doing, he done it several times in fillers as well since naruto og

They are a clone of the original but that doesn't mean they aren't still people that can feel and think like any other person can. So yes, Naruto having emotions for them makes sense because that guy raised them as their father figure in the worst circumstances. It's sad when you think about because they aren't shadow clones, but real people.

This arc gives kind a naruto shippuden feels because this arc was written by the naruto writer. One more arc is written by him which will be even better that this one. But only these two arcs are good, all the rest are like fillers of naruto till episode 170s.
