Since this arc is over, I have to make things clear. Sasuke was living a normal life with his family after shippuden. Remember episode 488 of Shippuden when he said he's going to return to the village. He returned and married Sakura and he lived with his family until Sarada got 2-3 years old. Even shizune said that in ep 19 or 20 that Sasuke was in the village when Sarada was a baby. Sarada can't remember him in this arc because she was only 2-3 years old when Sasuke left. Also Sasuke left the village because they found traces of otsutsukis and he has to go in other dimensions to gather informations about them. He is the only rinnegan user so only he can do that. His mission is also top secret. Only 5 kages and Sakura and Shikamaru knows about his mission. That's why he told Sarada it has nothing to do with her.
Also Sasuke probably meets Sakura time to time. I remember a 5 kage summit that Sasuke and Sakura both were there in the manga. They didn't animate that.
Sasuke doesn't want Sarada to end up like him or Itachi so maybe that's why he decided not to see her for 7-8 years. He's not happy for leaving them but he has to do it as his duty for the village. You can consider that Sasuke's "will of fire". That's how he can be useful to the village.

Btw, in Japanese culture its considered indecent(wrong) for couples to show affection in front of their kids. Thats the main reason he didn't kiss her or he just didn't tap her forehead since he was holding the bento box. Theres another example in episode 30 something where Sai was unsure of hugging Ino because Inojin was present.
The main reason he didn't toiched her forehead or hugged her was because he literally had the launch package in his hand and he only has one arm. Sasuke's not the Character to drop his launch then tap her forehead just to pick it up again. That's why they showed the launch after he goes away 😅

Sasuke giving Sarada the little forehead tap makes me smile every time. The fact that he was even able to hug her feels so different from the emotionally stunted kid he used to be. But the forehead tap is the thing he sees as the strongest way to show family affection because of the memories attached to the gesture from Itachi.
19:53 Sasuke kinda hugged Sakura in war arc when she saved him from Kaguya's dimension. I mean he wrapped his right hand around her in that scene if you remember it.
Also in "og naruto", Sakura hugged Sasuke when they were fighting sound shinobis. They again hugged each other after Tsunade healed Sasuke after fighting Itachi.
Sasuke is the best father of this generation... You'll see that later on. He is exactly to Sarada what his father was not and what he expected Itachi to be

after this arc, sarada became my favorite character in boruto

Another thing, remember that when Sasuke goes on a trip, he says that next time he'll take her? In Naruto shippuden at the end? So, after he comes back, he and Sakura go on SEVERAL missions as a couple, they have several combo attacks, so he just looks at her and she runs in the opposite direction to make the switch at the time she punches SHIN . It is even during one of these trips that she becomes pregnant, and gives birth to Sarada in one of Orochimaru's hideouts. Karin did the birth.

I remember this whole arc the first time it was shown in the manga and people were in hysterics at how Misashi trolled a lot of people. but there was still people who obviously knew Sarada couldn't be Karin's actual daughter. It was definitely a funny move by Kishi tho. This might be the first time I've seen in through the anime tho.

About Sarada's glasses, she missed Sasuke a lot after he started to have more indications that the Otsutsukis could still be alive, so as you know, when an Uchiha goes through some pain or very strong emotion, he releases a chemistry in the eyes, which awakens the Sharingan, as Tobirama explains. Sarada had these chemical discharges in her eyes often being very young, which made her have constant fevers (hence that scene of Sakura in bed with her), there is no record of an Uchiha that awakened the Sharingan so early, what makes Sarada unique, these discharges of power very early in her eyes, ended up forcing her vision, a lot of power for someone very young, that's why she wears glasses, but we can also assume that because she's had the Sharingan for a long time, one might expect him to be more powerful. You will realize later on that she does with 1 tomoe, things that other Uchiha only did with 2 or 3.
Makes sense. She must become the 8th or 9th Hokage, and the first Uchiha hokage.

The reason why Sarada’s birth was also not in any Konoha records is because Karin delivered the baby. Which is very logical as this is an Uchiha baby also FROM SASUKE. All this mess is because of Sasuke’s name and rinnegan. He is protecting Sarada by hiding her birth and not being in the village because people are after him. Although he did stay in the village for a short while when Sarada was really small. He left to track Kaguya’s traces and also didn’t want Sarada to have a connection with him as he thought that would be better if he wasn’t in the village anyways.

The forehead poke " itachi's legacy" lives on.
One information, Sakura is a master in Suiton and Doton, when she is sucking in the water, she is using the second Hokage's jutsu, Naminorigeki, which is the sucking attack. She is also a master of yin and yang style (obviously since she is a genjutsu type so she didn't fall into Toneri's genjutsu), and also uses fire style in the novel Sasuke Retsuden. Xoxo from 🇧🇷
A few things I've noticed is that Sakura calls Sasuke husband in the first fight against Shin and he says that his wife can handle herself. Despite this, and even watching the movie, I was still shocked with the Karin potentially being her mom 😅

Just fyi, The reason Sarada wears glasses is bcs she awakened her Sharingan early when she was little, and that made her sick and had to wear glasses, otherwise she would go blind. And those glasses were given by shizune/karin (i forgot).
In the novel, It was also explained that Sakura gave birth with Karin's help at Orochimaru's place bcs they're far from the village and there's no hospital. that's why there's no records of her birth are available at the konoha hospital.

I really dont like Boruto all this much, but to be fair, it does make sense to Karin to had made the deliver. A lot of people whould wanted to mess with Sasuke's child birth just like with Minato, and there is not a lot of places where it whould be safer and more secret to do it then orochimaru's lab. It also make sense to Karin to keep the umbilical cord since it can be used to make new cells if sarada or even Sasuke or Sakura ever need so, and i doubt Karin whould let orochimaru keep an semple of Sasuke's dna.

A lot of people will show up telling you to skip original arcs and transition episodes... But don't jump. The anime's work is fully canon, and she adds bg that doesn't exist in the manga. Some manga arcs are also adapted since the anime has more bg. But the anime is the final work. Some may be boring, but they are canonical.

The reason for sarada's delivery was at orochimaru's hideout was because when sakura went into labor, sasuke had a lot of enemies at that time, so the safest place was at orochimaru's hideout.
Both are the most natural reactions to the situation, that only makes it better.

i assume the idea is that they'd have Karin's umbilical cord because she's Orochimaru's experiment (and it was stored along with Karin's stuff. Makes sense for Orochimaru to keep everyone's umbilical cords around since it could be useful for cloning. Orochimaru probably has a few Shin Sakuras stored around in a vat somewhere
The reason why Sasuke don't give forehead tap to Sakura, is because he has only one heand and he already takes lunch box from Sakura, so his hand is full and he can't give forehead tap to Sakura 😅 He can only kiss her, but he can't do it in front of Sarada 😉😉😉

i have a question for those who are up to with manga , has it been specified yet why orochimaru and kabuto are still there in konoha ik orochi lives in the outskirts of village but has he been used after that battle with victor's assistant (i dont have an issue being spoiled on that)
In My village the ombilical cord is buries near house a tree is planted on top which symbolizes the beginning of life Mine is an orange tree and my little sister is an Avocado tree

Now imagine how powerfull sarada whould be if she was karin's and Sasuke's kid. She whould be a child of an uchiha, well THE uchiha and an Uzumaki who is an decendent from ashura just as much as Sasuke is from Indra. She whould be basically what madara wanted to be.

I liked sakura’s fight there but in canon manga there was nothing. These were just anime fills
In a canon novel, Sakura beat an enemy as strong as Naruto KCM mode alone so she's strong. They didn't animate her novel.
Also it's hard to put this fight in this episode in the manga panels.
