The President and Rick have one of the best dynamics in the show, constantly trying to one up each other because they can’t stand being second
I also love that it's not a cosntant dig at anything, it's two dudes that, like you said, can't stand each other, or the possibility of not being top dog. I also like that not only the President keeps up with Rick thanks to the vast resources and manpower at his disposal, but also because he's one tough customer who can dish it as well as Sanchez. Too many of these "rivals" in shows tend to be shown to be pathetically inferior and weak, more of an annoying nuisance than a real opponent, but here it's like theyr're twp sides of the same coin.
The SCP Foundation and the UIU if they had the mentalities of middle schoolers

i love how the spinned the whole "helper character being so gullible that they dont recognize the the obvious infiltrator" trope only for him to just kill her.

I think you'd realize that with Rick and Morty's humor that they are in fact putting the fascist symbol in the Congress room with the president. Also I think if you'd check the Lincoln memorial has the bundle of sticks without the axe - and this one has both axe and sticks which is a far more blatant fasces design. So yeah, I dont think you're right there.
Those sticks and axe are in the real Senate building, at the time I think they were connected with the roman republic before Mussolini came to power and used it

The bronze fasces shown are actually present on both sides of the US flag in the House of Representatives. Fascism was based off of the Fasces, the symbol having seen abundant use long before the ideology.
