I’ve always played enhance and always performed really good both in raids and m+ but this season honestly made me hate it so much, single target is really good but in aoe it’s horrible, how can an enhance compete with any other class with uncapped aoe? I started playing retri and I easily do 500/600k dps each 4+ mobs pull, I play hunter demo lock and war too all of them over 3k rio (classes I never played) and I do twice the dmg as on enhance, also pair it with the lowest survi spec in the entire game right now (astral shift is a joke) idk it feels meh
We do have some weak points for sure. I feel like buffing 6+ target count damage somehow and giving us another defensive would put us in a much better spot. If they buffed other things, we'd be cracked in the raid most likely. I do get that though, I started playing windwalker and I'm close to pushing 800k in some packs and I'm 20+ ilvls lower with crap gear 🤣 Hoping for some changes next season but most likely won't see anything till next expansion
@@AverageTeaDrink yes sadly that’s the problem, if they buff anything in a wrong way it becomes way too op in raid. Honestly enhance should have 1 more defensive and a buff for aoe dmg like making crash lightning actually do damage and/or remove the flame shock count cap from spreading it with lava lash and both these changes wouldn’t even impact single target damage
you seems to be funnelling alot compared to spreading lavalashes. is that the best way to maximise dps af enh esp as many bigger packs can be difficult to maintain ll on? and some packs die to fast?
I tried to write this comment explaining everything, but it was really long 😅 So the TLDR is: 1. Funnel high prio targets as we have a great damage profile for it 2. If the mobs are non prio, then spread Lashing on as many targets as possible if they live long enough for It to be worth. 3. On big packs, I always try to get at least 4+ Lashing debuffs out. 4. All depends on Grp AoE damage/How Fast they die and whether you think it's worth funnel or not

Hey. A great video. I have one question though - you have so much crit compared to haste. Is it just a result of the available gear or you simmed it?
I think around 26-30% Haste is a nice spot.
It's a mix of what gear I've got and simming as well, crit sims really well for me and feels great in M+

Also Rise is one of those dungeons where they are lot of high priority targets

Just to get it on cooldown and it's a pretty big pull. Most of the time groups ask for it there on fortified
