- Today on Gaming Mysteries, I talk about the beta and beginnings of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. What started as a PS2 game eventually grew to be one of the best titles for the PSP and I enjoy it quite a bit, hence the video on it and the beta things. Hope you enjoy it!

I really don't have a scheduled other then there will be at least 1 or 2 videos a month, more if things go well. I have severe anxiety and depression and other fun issues that randomly shut down my productivity, and wanting to intact with people. If it's a good month, lots of videos, if it's bad, not so much. I've been pretty stressed and sick as of late so videos have slowed down, but they'll ramp up soon enough. :3.
That style of video is not going to overtake this channel and become the only thing I upload, it's there for the people who like it, and again, it's an every once and a while kind of thing.
So to end this, if you don't like the creepypasta stuff, that's fine, you're not alone, but there are others who do, and who like how I handle that stuff, so that segment will go on. To those who have no interest in creepypasta, all I can say is don't watch it. I thought that was self explanatory. Guess not.
Kingdom Hearts BBS is my favorite KH Game. I truly can't wait for the 2.5 to give us KH BBS FM.

As I told you, creepypasta stuff is not the focus of my content, it never has been, it never will be, it's an every once and a while thing, that being the reason I separated it from Gaming Mysteries, and put it into it's own segment, because there are others, like yourself, who don't enjoy the creepypasta.

The handheld KH games were pretty good, they were really fun and had a bunch of important story stuff.
Seriously? They were crap if you can't admit that you're a total fanboy. I was a huge fan on KH when I played both and they're both awful especially if compared to KH1-2. Did you honestly enjoy the first DS game wandering around in those tiny empty enviroments?
Yes I liked them. Not as much as the console ones but I enjoyed them. And I'm not a fanboy because I enjoy the handheld versions too

What made me give up on the fucking game was when I was at a boss and it was almost dead... but uh oh... Sora needs to fucking sleep. So he did.
Played a bit on Riku thinking "Okay, when this damn guy sleeps I can get back on Sora and finish the boss"
Boss regained all it's health.
Mind you, it was in the beginning so yeah... not a big deal. I did beat the boss because it's the 1sto ne and simple, but just knowing that shit can happen and can hapen when you don't want the fucking shit to happen AND I don't see why they couldn't just let you pick and choose who to play as or something other than fucking push you off them... yeah
I decided the game can fuck off. Glad I only paid 20 for it when it 1st came out because of some sale.

Look, creepypasta stuff has never been the focus of my content, reason being is because most of it is shit, and not worth dedicating a lot of time to. Talking about normal games, or weird ones, or beta versions or unreleased games will always be more interesting to me.
With that said, some people like the creepypasta stuff, and how I make fun of it, which is why I made that Bullshit segment. It's a once and a while thing that can be fun for me and others. If you're not into it, don't watch.

The one thing I was sad about when BBS finally came out, is that they removed the "will you erase me?" Scene. I waited for, what was it, two years(?) to find out what it was talking about. I was really interested in Ven's story, and couldn't wait to see what was going on.

Found that ending with Raver's Fantasy synched up with up. I liked it alot, even though i never played Kingdom Hearts and had no idea what was going on.
To be clear, the decision to remove Jungle Book from this game, while last minute, has been confirmed to be because they didn't want both this world and Neverland in the same game. Neverland also has a Jungle Environment, and apparently Square likes variety.
This goes for KH1 as well. They considered Jungle Book and Pride Lands for that game, but they had to compete with Deep Jungle and that world won out.
Lightseeker is a Keyblade in the Realm of Darkness. It's actually part of the Dark family of Keyblades.

Where did you source information about KH2 getting a remake? Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and Re: Chain of Memories are being ported to the PS3 in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix. But I've not heard a thing about Kingdom Hearts 2?

Yuri, there's no need to hold that either one of those grudes ANY longer, kingdom heart's 3 is going to be released soon and has already been announced. Also thanks to 2.5 remix, final mix WILL be released in north america for all of us to enjoy. So please respond yuri because this is something I'm sure tons of people have already told you. And I'm sure you jumped with joy after hearing the above news.

I noticed that I the birth by sleep trailer when they showed both kingdom keys and way to dawn, Ventus, Aqua,and Terra grabbed their respective keyblades. Aqua grabbed light KK, Terra grabbed dark KK, and Even grabbed WTD. I also noticed both KKs were close together while WTD was spaced away from them. Maybe,just a theory here, maybe that represents a few things. Like light and dark must be close but never merged,which explains why the chi-blade couldnt be perfectly synthesized, or maybe it means they need to merge and form a new entity/weapon, seeing as WTD represents both dark AND light. IDK for sure, but hey we never know.
Woops! My brain sucks! I messed up the symbolism. Terra grabbed light and Aqua grabbed dark. My bad...so...it wasnt symbolic. It was a light hinting spoiler. Cuz Aqua went to the realm of darkness, and Terra in a last effort of good, became merged with his armor to pass his light on to Riku. Yeah that's right, I'm a puzzle solver awww yeah!

Speaking of Aqua's design being very slightly changed, that back thing is seriously overshadowed by the fact that if you look very closely (which I did because I'm a creeper, and who can blame me? Aqua's fucking cute), you can see that her breasts bounce ever so slightly when she walks during cutscenes.

End of the month :3, well, technically the first weekend of March.
Birth By Sleep Final Mix and Coded cut scenes along with 2 Final Mix +. So Yuri, does your offer still stand, will you set a copy of Re:Chain of Memories on fire since you're getting Birth By Sleep Final Mix on a console? Or does it fizzle because it's Final Mix and on the PS3?
You didn't mention the Higher Resolution PS2 models being found in the Japaniess version of the game

Now is a good time to get into the Kingdom Hearts series, with 1.5, 2.5 and 2.8 having the absolute definitive version of each of the games in the series (Other than 358/2 Days and Re:coded) and with Kingdom Hearts 3 on its way.
Some more info:
SE stated that when starting the project, the UMD space was a lot smaller, and so artists spent a lot of time trying to make the game look good at low resolution. It then grew during production, allowing them to make it to a near PS2 standard.
Lea had Axel's tattoos in artwork, but not in the game, and they were stricken from Lea's design altogether come KH3D, with adult Lea's face clear.
Terra, Ventus and Aqua originally had capes, but the simulation was taxing on the game.

Man I really know how you feel. Ever since I saw the ending of KH2 I was wishing it was for the PS2 or even a PS3 title. That way no money wasted on a PSP just to play 1 game. Still the game is fun.

it still had some important events, for example, the secret ending shows yen sid asking mickey to contact sora and riku so they could take the mark of mastery and become keyblade masters in order to counter xehanorts oncoming threat. that cutscene most likely held the most importance throughout the whole game.

I think the case about the jungle book level might be because the rights that Disney had for Edgar Rice Boroughs' (author of both Jungle Book and Tarzan) properties expired sometime after the release of kh1, which also explains why we haven't seen Tarzan since the first game either.

Chain of Memories is the in-between game for KH1 and KH2 It basically explains how Sora ended up in that bubble. Which other questions answered as well.

Wasn't a LOT of the story elements changed from the beta to the actual game as well? Don't really remember the details, but based on the 2008 trailer, it just seems Terra changed a lot, and Ven changed a bit to.

I think in terms of overall satisfaction with a kingdom hearts game, Birth By Sleep is my favorite. It was a prequel that added so much to the actual story of the game with out all-out recycling levels, or making it stupidly hard and convoluted like Chain of Memories(gba) and retained the actual game play elements of the series while adding its own twist in terms of storytelling and gameplay mechanics. It's by far the best game on the psp.

Hey Yuri did you hear the news of KH Final Mix being released onto the PSN. Along with the 3D version of COM and scenes from 358/2 days remade.
The KH and FF are not mostly hated by a lot of their fans because they have a lot of spin-offs, according to Nomura. However, I love them as RPGs without grudges.
KH3 was intended to be on the Nintendo Switch, but it’s not confirmed because of technical problems during its development.

A KH fan too? I'm in love. I have to know what your reaction was like when kh3 was announced! I like many others, completely lost my shit. It was amazing. You also reminded me of all those bittersweet years of waiting, hahaha. BBS was a great title though, it tied me over for awhile. The 3ds release was horrible though! Story was fine but flow motion gameplay oh god D: no!
